Eugene, it's scary you have that pic.  It would be over five years old now.

I didn't think we parted on bad terms.  Just the clan was shut down and I took it as an opportunity to see what a different clan was like (after being with WG for ever).  Turns out it wasn't that great and I just quit RS all together.

Totally forgotten the circumstances surrounding all that mess.  From memory you were just overworked and under appreciated.  Bit silly that such a thing can happen because of a game which is meant to be fun but that's the RS clan world.

Join the Clan / Boiled Ice's Intro

1. Is this introduction for the Wilderness Guardians or Descendant Guardians? DG

2. Tell us about your RuneScape history and your account (e.g. when you started, what your RSN means, favourite activities etc.) :
I first started playing RS back in Primary School.  That was about eight or nine years ago now.  I always saw RS as a hobby and it always took a back seat to sport and friends so I've rarely been a member, maybe three months max.

My first character was named "Clang".  When I first started playing RS you had the option of creating a specific class of adventurer.  I was drawn to the miner/smither class and the name "Clang" was a reflection of the sound a picaxe would make on a rock or a hammer on an anvil.  It was with this character that I first joined WG back in the S7 days where we all used to wear steel on raids.  Unfortunately, this character was banned due to some stupidity on my part which led to a misunderstanding.  I was bored mining gold one day and was thinking if anyone had actually seen someone attempt to scam a password.  I asked the question out loud, someone reported me and unbelievably Jagex banned me (still can't believe it).

My second character "Boiled Ice" was reluctantly created after I had given up hope for "Clang".  Not much of a story here, in my tween state of mine I thought the oxymoron of Boiled Ice was cool.  Continued with WG for a many years serving in the rank of "moderator" at one point. After various historical events (closing of WG) I stopped playing RS and drifted from the clan world.

Up to this point, I still have a strange attraction to mining and smithing and am currently no lifing at LRC (for the coal to use the Artesian Workshop for smithing.  However, other aspects of P2P are distracting me as I never really explored the whole RS world before.  Especially now after being inactive for possible more than three years, there is a lot to catch up on.  Boss hunting especially interests me.

3. Tell us more about yourself (Age, country/state, gender, hobbies, music, skills, likes and dislikes):
I've lived my whole life in the same house in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. I've always been obsessed with sport.  When I was younger I was playing six different sports competitively simultaneously.  As I got older I specialised in swimming and footy (AFL), leaving the other sports behind.

I'm currently doing my last year of study at University, after which I will be sent to rural Victoria to work.  A move many of my mates at Uni are dreading but one I look forward to as it will force me to move out of home and grow up  :P.

In a strange sort of way, increasing commitments for work and Uni are stopping me from playing as much sport or having as much of a social life.  This has resulted in more short and oddly timed periods of free time at home. As a result I've gotten back into RS.

4. How did you hear about us and what makes you want to join WG or DG:
Would check in on the WG forums every so often and when I saw DG was being reopened I had to join.

5. Are there any current WG or DG members who you already know:
I'm sure there's a few ancient members still floating around here somewhere.

6. Any additional comments:
I've got to be honest.  I don't know how active I'll be.  I'll ALWAYS attend raids and especially wars when there are no real life conflictions.  It was something which always frustrated me back in the day when a raid was called and I saw clan members logging off (turning private off) to avoid it.  However, as far as forum activity, no promises.

Random question here.  Since when has every second skiller in RS been a bot?
