overall average these days is probably only 1-2 hours per day but when i have the time i can happily play 10 hours daily

Mage training arena provides a place to make money and gain magic xp, however the kinetic and enchantment room are especially slow xp and boring. However, if you focus solely on the alchemy and graveyard room you can gain cheap xp at a decent rate.

All you need is nature runes, water runes, fire staff and earth staff (and a few food to speed up graveyard room). I did a test starting with 200 nature runes to see the xp rate and cost.

Start:


In the graveyard room you get 1 point per nature rune so I did the alchemy room until the amount of points I had equalled the amount of natures I had left (54). I then went to the graveyard room until I had 54 points of each. I then traded in the points for 54 nature runes upstairs.



End:


In 22 minutes I gained 29k xp, giving me an xp per hour of 79k
I lost 127 nature runes, and gained 8 deaths and 11 bloods giving a total cost of 27k giving a rough cost of 1 gp per xp

If you compare this to alching yew longbows which give an xp rate of about 65k /hour and 3gp per xp this provides a slightly faster and considerably cheaper alternate to alching although you have to pay more attention.

Iv played rs pretty much continuously for the last 10 years although much more casually over the last 2 years since eoc was announced and going to uni. Toned is just one of my various online aliases and Sabre is from being in The Sabre Clan. I hate to skill and having to make gp, pvm and pvp are definitely my favourite things to do on rs.

My name is David/Dave, im from England but currently at uni in Wales (Cardiff) studying physics. Im laid back, I dont take much seriously and have just finished for summer so will hopefully have plenty of time for rs.

4. How did you hear about us, and what makes you want to join WG?
Iv known about wg for years and had plenty of interaction with them whilst a sabre. With the release of 07scape iv begun to play rs again and am looking to get back into clanning. I already know loads of wg members and what wg is about and hope to be part of it.

Been in the sabres for the last 5 years - pretty much all ranks
Was in tko blitz for 2.5 years prior to their closure - member/elite/legend
Used to war for corruption/be on their ml but was never really officially a member

got an idea planned out done all my work for this week so planning to no life it and get a decent start, after the weekend ill be too busy to play alot so will just casually play and the economy will evolve around me so wont be such an issue

I can see it not working because there is not a large enough active player base, however id rather see them try, have a fun few months, and fail rather than to not bother just to avoid said failure.

Also i hope they make a separate subscription because im sure people - me included - want to play only old school servers so why should we have to pay the other $5 for a crap game that we hate.

If im active enough ill be looking to join a clan if some do open up, if im not so active ill still try and join a casual/clan/team/pvm team to have some people to play with

dont see it working out but hey its worth a try, personally gonna be playing it as much as possible which probably wont be that much but still looking forward to it
