Anyone getting the new Gears of War?

I never enjoyed GoW multiplayer, only the single player/horde mode.  But unfortunately I never finished the previous games single player.

I also haven't seen/looked for much info about this new one so don't even know if it's sequel/prequel/spinoff etc.

It's a prequel to Gears 1 with Baird & Cole as the main characters.
It's a new development team so they're redoing some of the major Gears aspects (mixed opinions from the community).

I don't plan on buying this one.
I had to stop playing my last game I bought to play more rs.
I like Halo more.
