Playing this game right now. I haven't played any of the other games in the series but this seems like a very good game. The graphics are amazing.

I have Oblivion and that is not too bad. Didn't impress me heaps but it isn't that bad. How good is Skyrim in comparison to Oblivion?

Alot better. Half the game doesnt end when you finish the main quest.
AI is alot more stupid than it was on Oblivion
Quests are better.

Overall it seems alot better. Not like the whole pausing to change weapon tbh. Prefered the oblivion one where you could set it to a direction (i played on ps3)
Still  Skyrim is better more fun to explore rather than just huge forest.

Favorite the item so it shows up on the favorites list. Q brings up your favorite list for PC. Not sure about platform.
But once you are on your favorites you and press left or right over the spell / wep to make it keybind to that.

On pc you can do 1-8 I think.

My choice for GOTY right here. Playing it and having one hell of a blast. For those that weren't into oblivion too much, I'd recommend renting beforehand. There are some flaws more or less, but the game as a whole is an improvement over oblivion(though not in all respects but the majority of them).

Would've gotten the collector's edition, but I didn't have the money at the time.
