Add Ignore Feature

Would like to be able to check important / rs related posts without having to sift through 20 house of random topics when using the "unread posts" feature.

Could an ignore button be added OR could HoR posts be removed from unread topics on the forum link.

If you look at the board index you will see this icon indicating that there is new posts on a specific board:

Just click on the image and it gives you the unread posts for just that board.

Alternatively, you can check all the unread posts in one board category by clicking "Unread Posts" in the top right of each category.

I don't see the need to change anything.

and tbh, it's pretty easy to tell from the unread posts page what is a HoR topic and what isn't, takes 1 second maximum to tell whether a topic is srs or not

I never check the unread posts.
I don't get why people sift through that shit.
I go down the forums and open what is relevant to me.
Then I mark all posts as read.

The amount of topics I never even bother opening is probably quite offensive.

Well seeing as there are only about 4 unread posts not in HoR every day it only takes five minutes of your time to read them then mark all as unread.
The feature is very useful but is being abused by HoR junk.

If unread posts didn't pick up from the house of random it would smooth everyones jims.
