Level 90 gear

So I was just looking around and it came to me. Dont you think it's stupid there is only one choice for level 90 armour per style? Why can't there be multiple items that are all lvl 90. In level 85 defence we have 3 different gear items; Vanguard, battle mage, tetsu. Yet for magic armour all we have is tectonic @ level 90. Why does jagex allow ONE set of armour to dominate a specific field?

They are slowly rolling out Tier 90 weapons/equipment.  Besides the fact that besides superior PoP armor anything else 85+ is basically useless.

Yeah, they tend to slowly roll out the tiers over time, for example when Kalphite King was released, we only had level 90 Melee weapons, until the Ascension crossbow came out, and then when Vorago came out he brought level 90 mage weapons AND armour, so can safely assume the next boss will drop either 90 Range or Melee armour and then one after that will drop the other.
