A little progress update on things so far; I put the prayer goal first and knocked out 1750 total along the way so that's the first 2 goals done. Since the fishing competition was going on I decided to spend some afk time fishing but it kinda spiralled out of control, especially since a few days ago I was dragged into a hcgim group. Wasn't gonna take it seriously at all, but ended up being so much fun. That entire gamemode has been one giant meme so far I swear. So I ended up playing that and kept afk fishing on the main. And fishing, and more fishing.. ended up getting 7 agility levels so far and kinda figure I may aswell afk my way to 70 agility since I need that for song of the elves anyway. Gonna play the HCGIM in the meantime. Current stats: Also this happened bout a few hours ago: Wasn't planning on filling out that collection log anytime soon but ain't complaining about being spooned!

Hello folks! So most of you know I joined WG when my 'main' (ol phantasm) was just a starterup that I made so I could enjoy more of the game other than just pking on my pure. But to be honest, I haven't done much actual scaping other than getting my combat to 120 in nmz and pking a bunch with you guys or being somewhat inactive otherwise. Well recently I've been a lot more active in scape and I actually feel a bit of a resurgence in my passion for the game outside the wildy. So I've set some short and long term goals for my account that I thought I'd share. Starting out, these are the stats / achievements: Lets be real, it's not very impressive My short term goals are: - 92 pray - 99 mage since I literally stopped at 98.5 and then forgot about it 6 months ago - Kandarin Hard diaries, since what the fuck why did nobody tell me it increases your bolt crit % - Wilderness Hard diaries, so I dont have to ask for taxi's to/from ferox enclave anymore - 1750 total, so I stop missing all the good fights in total worlds lol - Song of the Elves, cause everybody keeps telling me the unlocks are super legit and it will keep me busy for a bit - Elite Void set - A pet. Any pet. After that, I'm looking at steadily grinding towards some real longer term goals: - 2000 total - 500m / 750m / 1bil bank for PvM gear - Quest cape - 500 / 750 / 1000 collections logged - 1,000 clues completed - 5 PvM pets Eventual end game goals are basically max stuff as far as it can go aslong as I feel the desire to play the game. But I think realistically I'd want to accomplish the following: - All diaries completed - 2200 total - The inferno. Maaaaaybe. This topic is essentially just a place I can post some cool or funny stuff I find along the way. I may post a bunch at times and not a lot at others, but will try to keep some progress posts flowing. So, hope you enjoy seeing me clown about in Gielinor!

We should pin this somewhere in PK discussion. Does anybody know if the spear and bind cooldowns are one and the same now? (ie if I freeze, can I still spear?) And if they are, does that mean chain-spearing is not a thing anymore? Or is it just immunity from freezes for 3sec after spear runs out? Cause that was deperately needed in the single PK scene, but not sure if it'll matter much in clan fighting.

Oooo, another pure? If you already got your pure to a high standard I'd suggest making a different account to main on. I did the same thing for clan purposes and dont regret a thing! Nmz is your friend, easy combat training Many members here have pures of their own so u can still pk on your 1 def if you'd prefer that!

Ive been firmly planted inside nightmare zone for like the last two weeks for this exact reason. But its worth it to push yourself those couple cmb levels more man, bossing is loads of fun! And you dont need the 99s to do GWD bosses, for example. Just hang out in discord / clan chat while you're levelling. If you find long grinds boring, just afk at nmz like me and a lot of others have done.

Congratz! Very big accomplishment. Now you get to run around in 2k worlds and be all smug about it to us nonskillers.

Ol Phantasm List any previous RS names: La Yinn has been my runescape name since classic but when I gave osrs a go I decided on making the sort of account I never played back in the day which is a 1 def members pker. It's still as fun as it was when I started the account, but its very limiting in terms of what I can do in the game so I've made a 'main' which I intend to use for clan events. What is your total level and combat level? I'm 1077 total and 91 combat on my main (Ol Phantasm), 1233 total and 74 combat on my 1 defence pure (La Yinn). Currently playing on my pure and nightmare zoning on my main to get it up to speed. Tell us about your RuneScape account and history. As stated above, I've played Runescape (on and off) since classic, starting off as a 10year old rpg newbie who heard about the game from a friend I played videogames with. Best way to describe that part of my RS history would be to tell you about what I remember about it back then. And that would be purposefully dying to the guards in varrock after smithing iron short swords. Thats because I couldn't remember how the hell to get back to rimmington to mine ore again.. but I did remember the route to the mine from lumbridge, so that was what I did. I do miss the feeling of getting lost in a seemingly infinite world with so many people - most just as lost as you were. Dont miss the damn sleeping bag/fatigue mechanic though. If that's not the most nostalgic thing you've read this week... well, you probably weren't playing back then! Tell us about your clan history. The Sabre Clan 2005(6?) - 2011. I found out about it through Sabre Iron who was developing this game he was advertising on Rune Village, which was back then still just a runescape fan site and the first I came across. I ended up testplaying a bit of that game for him and got to talking about runescape clans; he invited me to check out the Sabres and shortly after I joined up. Never looked back, best gaming community experience I've had in my life. Seriously great group of people. Technically left the clan due to me losing interest in the game around 2009, but hung around in the clan IRC for so much longer than that. Couldn't care less about RS during those years but just goes to show that a clan is built on a lot more than combat levels and virtual gold coins, hehe. However life took over and eventually I ended up losing contant with many of them, just drifting further away from the game. I know some still play, i'm still in touch with a couple outside of the game aswell and others I haven't spoken to in what must be a decade by now. Held the Event manager rank at some point before retiring from actively playing runescape. Tell us about your yourself. As nostalgic as I can get about runescape (and I do seriously love the game for what it is), caring about status, or virtual wealth or any of those things is kind of behind me. I'm not fiending for the next 99, or the need to prove myself. Nowadays I'm very no fuss, no drama about it all. As for who's behind the screen, the average 27 year old who couldn't let go of the gaming habit, haha. Very much a music guy, produced a bunch of drum and bass, love going to small clubs where some no-name DJ manages to deliver some great vibes for the 60 people who actually knew there was a party going on in the first place. Studied biotech but dropped out due to a bunch of real life drama at the time, now I'm hopping between jobs saving up enough money to go finish my degree. Because Runescape isn't the same as Runescape with company and when it comes to company I prefer genuine people rather than random clan chat teams and whatever. I remember the Sabres so fondly because it was the sort of clan where scummy shit just never really happened and I feel like with so many overlapping traditions (and members, over the years), WG seems like the go-to choice as a clan that resembles that kind of atmosphere. I was allowed to join up with a few pking events the last week or two and had a blast so I'm pretty optimistic about finding what I'm looking for here.
