  2. The days of the 2020 bull run are long gone (and what fun it was), so ETF's/index funds are your best bet.
  3. Please join our Discord server and read the #joining_wg channel to see the final step in the process. Highhopes111 What is your current RS name? Highhopes111 List any previous RS names: No other previous RSN's on my main. My ironman is called Day 54. What is your total level and combat level? Total level: 1795 Combat level: 123.1 What Timezone are you in? GMT (UK) Tell us about your RuneScape account and history. I started playing RS sometime in '06 due to my younger brother and his friend playing while I was hanging out. Back then, RS was known as a game for losers, at least where I'm from. Nevertheless, my curiosity got the better of me and here I am, nearly 2 decades later, still sourcing dopamine from Gielinor. My brother quit maybe a month after introducing me to what would be a seemingly life-long hobby. I've played fairly consistently over the years, with the only lengthy break being upon the release of EOC, which I'm sure one of you reading this can relate to. I find all aspects of the game fun, namely Ironman mode in recent years, but some PVM and PVP content, too. I used to have quite a close group of friends that I'd frequently play with. The activities we got up to would range from PVMing an array of bosses, and PKing in the rev caves back when they were multi. We used to spend hours PKing back then and it was a lot of fun, which admittedly is a contributing factor as to why I'm writing this application today. Unfortunately, the vast majority of my friends from back then either quit or are no longer interested in PVP. Tell us about your clan history. I've never been part of a serious clan. I've historically only ever played with friends, which has scratched the multiplayer itch for me. We had a fairly decent sized group back then so there was no real need to find a team to pk with. Tell us about your yourself. My name is Bob/Bobby, and I'm a London-based dude that plays games such as RS and Warzone to pass the time. I work in Finance which I enjoy a lot - my job involves a lot of client management/relationship building, so in my view, I'm in the 'funner' side of banking. I workout 5x per week to keep me sane, and I love to travel. How did you hear about us? I met Myles in edge bank a week or two ago while I was skilling on my ironman. He mentioned WG and we got talking. What makes you want to join us? I really want to get back into PKing since seeing Myles and some of the other WG guys securing their loot keys while I was skilling at edge bank. Seeing that brought back a real sense of nostalgia for me and I'd love to get into the team aspect of PVP. Since meeting Myles, I've been hanging around on discord and forums (I posted a community intro first), and you guys seem like a cool bunch of people. I also read the clan rules/expectations and I respect the stanard you guys hold yourself to. I appreciate that I'm only scratching the surface as far as the real WG community, but I like what I see thus far. Do you agree to the rules and requirements of WG and understand that this is an honour clan? Yes Come clean about anything that may deter us from accepting you: Nothing adverse to come clean about. What I will say is that I haven't PKed consistently recently so it may take a little while for my awareness and performance to improve. I'm a quick learner and will commit myself to getting up to speed ASAP, should my application be accepted.
  4. Highhopes111 Tell us about yourself. Hi all, I'm Bobby - a London-based gamer that works in Finance. Outside of work I enjoy exercising, golf, and playing runescape, which I've played for c.20 years. Nowadays, I primarily play on my ironman, but perhaps that'll change soon since being introduced to WG earlier this week. I ran into Myles at edge bank while I was skilling on my ironman, and noticed he was pking with you guys. I used to partake in a decent amount of pking with friends back in the day, so the thought of doing that once again gives me a deep sense of nostalgia, thinking back to the dopamine of fighting small teams with my friends. Clan history. No clanning history - I've only really played with friends thus far. How did you hear about us? I met Myles in-game at Edge bank. Do you plan to join? I think so. Any last comments? Glad to be here and hopefully be part of the community in time. Skilling can be lonesome on an ironman so a bit of variation wouldn't go amiss!
