Ensouled heads or guilded altar

So I've been doing ensouled heads for prayer xp. I was curious what you guys thought was better, or maybe have some proven data supporting one over the other. Factors such as cost SHOULD matter here. GP waste is never good XD.  So far doing ensouled heads ive saved 2m from 52 to 70. I only have to do about 650 heads(compared to about 2400 d bones for 5m) at 932 xp per kill.  It takes about 10 seconds per kill(this could decrease as your  combat goes higher). I'm using glory amulet to teleport to edge then using the fairy ring there to the dark altar. I must add that im also gaining combat/magic experience as well. Each dagganoth has 35 hitpoints. which i think is standard among the heads hitpoints. what are everyone thoughts?

Got 90 prayer long before ensouled heads were released.

My feeling is that doing guilded altar is faster in the long run, you can earn the money back with the time saved.

Could be wrong though

guilded altar is alot faster, albeit expensive,

 

ensouled on the other hand are alot cheaper, but alot slower.

if you have the money to burn id do bones just because they are so easier.

 

Heads on the other hand also give a fair bit of magic exp.

Heads take longer, but if you dont have maxed meele you get meele exp aswell (and mage)

yeah i heard the time you save doing bones could be better spent making more gp at your income source

ensouled for sure. its not bad melee + mage xp, on top of cheap and good prayer xp.

New chaos altar better so 1/2 the bones needed.

What @claws said, the new chaos alter is soooooooo nice, and you spend half the money for the same exp. Even if you die a bit as long as you arent dying more than once every 2 trips you are breaking even.

idk i think even with half the bones, dragon bones still costs more than ensouled heads.

but its also pretty afk and easier banking.
