Thailand :D It is my father's home country. When it is winter in the states it is still 80-90 degrees F , the food is great and everything is so cheap! 5 star hotel with infinity pool $20 USD a night, you can feed yourself all day with 10$. Not to mention they recently legalized cannabis !

MIght as well join in on the necro thread here... I'd love to be able to take the time off to complete the Appalachian Trail with my family. Perhaps one day.

Florida is a solid pick, Altan. I went there a while back, and it's got a bit of everything – beaches, theme parks, and even spots for quieter, outdoor adventures. If you're into something unique, you might want to check out places like Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo. There’s a bunch of fun resort activities, from glamping and rodeos to all sorts of outdoor experiences, making it a memorable vacation spot.
