AncientStone Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Hey, I'm hoping someone here may be able to help me out here: When I start my PC, the fans go heavy for a sec, and everything shuts off a second later. Another second later, it starts up, and I get this screen: After which I press F1, and I get this screen: I press F10 > Continue, and the PC will start up, as normal. Please don't tell me I need a new motherboard Quote

MYL Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Please could we have more info brother? how does it shut off? Any changes recently? Can you boot into windows safe mode through BIOS? Quote
Groedius Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 the most important info that would help to narrows this down would be when did it start ? did you do anything or change anything at that time ? Quote
Ghost Sabre Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Try resetting bios to default, check boot order. If all else fails back up ur files, then create a windows 10 install USB, use it to wipe the drive/delete all partitions, create new volume, then reinstall windows on the drive. It could be something simple like ur bios is set to run at post prior to booting OS from drive. Quote Leader and Head Warlord of the Wilderness Guardians WildGuard let's gooooo!!!! AncientStone Posted December 12, 2023 Author Posted December 12, 2023 (edited) Well, it started like a week ago. I haven't changed anything, it just started occuring. I changed the BIOS priority, it was set on the disc reader for some reason... I will try again in a bit (and update this comment) Update: Alas, changing the BIOS priority changed nothing. It only occurs when I don't turn the switch on the back of the PC... Ty so much for all, for the awesome help! Edited December 13, 2023 by AncientStone Quote
