Mushroom Posted June 23 Share Posted June 23 (edited) Summer is here w00t w00t and I've been busy on OSRS this first half of 2024, didn't play much in recent years, where 2020-2023 I barely logged in at all. Started playing again in autumn last year on mobile only doing simple afk skilling, got a PC gaming/study/work area setup during winter and been playing a lot since then. I have created this thread to showcase some pictures/screenshots and share the progress with you all. You're going to see some pictures covering progress over time, loot, achievements and read about my adventure. Skill wise I did a lot of total levels of which the biggest grind was probably mining (and especially the expert mining gloves). 10th October 2023: 10th January 2024: 24th June 2024: The crystalmathlabs tracker from September 2023 to now, 40m exp and 450 levels!: Starting at 180 quest points in January and 60m-ish in the bank, first I (finally) did the last part of RFD and got b gloves, then ds2, mm2 and recently dt2. Completing dt2 meant that I had finished all quests and achieved the quest point cape - I've wanted one since it was released and now all the hard work has paid off. Quest cape: Teleporting directly to the legends guild now, lets goo! Also, got all but 1 hard diaries and combat achievements hard tier completed. I'm loving all the diary perks so far, especially 50% extra storage on the cannon - lots of solid rewards there already at hard tier and a ghommel arvenic hilt is definitely on the horizon. I killed a chicken solo: Zenyte at about 70kc: Bandos chestplate with the gang: Since spring ended I did a ton of slayer, solo pvm and group pvm/pvp content. I was hating having to juggle items and sell stuff only to buy it back next hour, day or week, so I just had to increase the stack of gold pieces. It's great that now I can afford a dragon harpoon and dragon pickaxe as well as all zenytes - at the same time - with my bank value now at 150m+. Back2back archers: Upon release, dagannoth kings were the no.1 top tier content in my eyes and 2007-2009 I would dream of being able to solo tribrid in the lair or as a group with friends but I was a noob with bad skills and no gear. Do you remember having to run back to the lair after dying because all your items we're going to be either stolen or disappear forever? Many years later with the OSRS release, it was no longer the highest tier of content in the game yet the DK lair was one of my favourite things to do back in late 2010s. Nowadays the available gear is much better and as a result it's not so challenging however I'll always do dag kings if I get a dag task as its super immersive and I enjoy the nostalgia of it. I have the combat stats, the crystal halberd ready and now I'm looking forward to frem elite diary for the noted bones - just need those higher runecrafting levels! Jagex recently released some new agility shortcuts for them which (after the required agility levels) will save inventory space and make getting there much easier. 2 Archers and 1 b-ring in less than 25 kills in on a slayer task: DK clog looking pretty phat: The loot tracker from the past 4/5 months: First 99, what a savage beast to max strength on: Found an old (January 2020) picture of the thieving pet during desert treasure requirements: That's all I've got for now. Better to use clipping device, send on disc and copy - that way they stay I uploaded a few to the site and the rest come from discord with a right click copy, when you say "fallen out", they're cropped or something? or just not there? they are all there for me still but I cant check what are missing otherwise viewing as incognito, I now see that they're not all there. how can that be possible?
