masterdutcho Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 playing ps3 and i've always loved games like silent hill, the original final fantasies, and basically anything on the gamecube. what are some of the original consoles or pc games that got you into gaming? Quote
4474 Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Still got my first N64. Mario party or Mario Kart on that is always a good time. Zutheris 1 Quote
poiuyt415 Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 I’ve got about every console I can think off from back in the day, n64 was amazing for Pokemon stadium, golden eye, and mario world, has the sega for sonic, alien storm and altered beast was the shit! Ps1 has classics like space invaders, war games and millennium soldier as well as tones of others, Ps2 has so many classics I can’t event begin but one of my favourite was the timesplitters series especially number 2 and was sad they stopped at the third after talks of the series continuing..... damn so many games too little time 4474 and Soul 2 Quote
Slumptality Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Snowboard kids on the N64 was the game i grew up with, recently bought a new N64 and a copy of that game to relive the joy i had back then. Quote
WG Lohow Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 (edited) Ratchet & Clank on the ps2 Edited September 19, 2018 by WG Lohow poiuyt415 1 Quote

Tnx Obama Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 N64 was probably my favorite old school system, tons of fun games Quote
Titan Tanis Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Loved Silent Hill and the old Laura Croft Tombraider games. Half life was also excellent. poiuyt415 1 Quote
Zutheris Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 N64 was probably my favorite so many games from it were amazing like the LoZ OoT and Super Mario 64. poiuyt415 1 Quote
danghole Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 gamecube was my SHIT back in the day. recently picked up a SNES mini (snes was my first console but i was way too young to remember playing, it was my brothers) and im reliving the classics all over again. donkey kong country is so good. best platformer ever made, i think. its better than the mario games imo Quote
SensesFail Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 I've been going SUPER hard lately with the SNES mini as of late too, Link To The Past and Super Metroid are honestly timeless gems, shoutout to Mario RPG as well Soul 1 Quote
dreadedstorm Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 have have almost every old school gaming system, missing all sega(s) and gamecube. but even have all the gameboys from the big bricks to the pikachu color version =D Quote
Reedtrullz00 Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 My first gaming console was the original Xbox, but I had the weird silvery see-through one instead of the black and green one. I didn't have too many games so I played the shit out of Star Wars: Knights of the old republic Quote
Soul Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 I ended up getting my old Super Nintendo back from my family home and got it working again. It needs a bit of cleaning but I'm building up the collection! Console and Soul Blazer game, thus where my RS name comes from. Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Super Mario RPG Super Mario World Eventually I would like to get a few more games like Chrono Trigger, they're really expensive to collect but there's nothing like kicking back and doing some nostalgia gaming with a few beers on the table. ChronicAngel Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 thats tough one to decide but its either n64 or super nintendo i love 64 cause of smash bros and mario cart also conkers bad fur day all amazing games Quote
King CJ Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Super Nintendo is still one of my go-to systems! I made a raspberry pi emulator and play it all the time, it's so much fun to play old retro games, some of them are made surprisingly well for being so small in size and having all that content Quote
Fexo Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Ooooo rough question I played on a variety back in the day. For poortable games it was Pokemon series for Gameboy, and Animal Crossing for Nintendo DS. Halo 3 was great so many all nighters were pulled and pizza's were destroyed lol. I enjoyed Ratchet and Clank, Dark Cloud, Baldurs Gate, Shadow of the Colossus, Spyro and ATV/Burnout racing games for Playstation 2. Quote
A lovely one Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Hm, what a beatiful question. Heres my list: NES - Battletoads, hands down the best platformer. Zelda without map nor english knowledge was a nightmare. And as a russian, we did not have the original NES everyone else had. We had dendy, a horrible chinese clne, with fked up games. Maybe @Adult Cat Would recall. SEGA - Comix Zone, just love this game. PS1 - Gran Turizmo amazed me back then. Gta 3 was the 1st gta i ever played. PC - 1st pc game i ever played was diablo2. God how many hours me and my friends wasted playing d2 on battle.net. Then came Scape. Quote

Good old times Quote
Myntie Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 (edited) sonic 2 and the power rangers game on sega, crash bandicoot for gamecube, clay fighter(s?) 63 1/3 (which nobody seems to remember). also the davinci code game for ps2 was a banger. bully too. Edited February 4, 2019 by Myntie Quote
akatsuchi Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Spyro on PS1 was the shit!! i remember playing that game as a kid alot (probably 5 or 6 years old? lol) aside from that super mario smash bros was fun as hell on gamecube haha Quote
Flocked_Up Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Overall would say Gamecube is my favourite, Super Mario Sunshine brings back way too many memories of childhood, however the N64 for Super Mario 64 is a close contender. Also Sonic Adventure 2 for Gamecube was pretty top tier. Quote
MsFreakyFrog Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 Nintendo - Dragon warrior. First Rpg I got into and it was one of the first saveable games for that system. Quote
