I think it stems from my polish heritage. I have a hard time not advancing/progressing in general. So because i am always running at people in robes and worrying about calling and finding piles, I tend to eat shit a lot. And because I play mostly support/caller I don't tend to get kills. So I tend to just not bring +1s. Claw rushing is also meta now...which is cheesy af and a super fast way of losing +1s. Therefore, generally dscim or leaf bladed are my meele switches. I just so happened to record this the couple days i was trialing dds lol. But you are absolutely right, its utter shit and there are 6 meele switches at least that are better lol.
