Shoresy
I just wanted to put this little guide together for those of you that were thinking of starting to kill vorkath for money. I put off DS2 for the longest time, but when I finished it, i realized that killing vorkath is easily the best PvM moneymaker in the game besides Raids. Recommendations: 90+ with full void (elite adds a bit more damage + prayer bonus) Blowpipe (DHCB if you can afford it, it's a night and day difference) 74+ Prayer with Rigour (Seriously a game changer. A must have for vorkath) I'm by no means an expert as I'm at 800kc, but I just wanted to give everyone who's curious an idea of how much GP/Hr you can make. My stats: -108 Cmb -99 Range -82 Def -74 Pray My setup (Correct me if i'm wrong but I believe it's all BiS for Vorkath): Full elite void DHCB Dragonfire Ward Ruby(e) and Diamond (e) Dragon bolts Pegasians Ava's assembler Salve amulet (ei) Archers ring (i) My Inventory: Diamond (e) Dragon bolts (switch at 45ish %) Rune pouch 1 Antivenom + 1 Extended anti-fire 1 Super defence 1 Range pot 3 Super restores The rest mantas (Vork drops these quite frequently) So let's run through some numbers: I did 1 hour of Vork and took into account my cost as well. This is an average hour. I've had worse and I've had better before as well. Loot: This is what i came up with. It isn't 100% accurate but I know it's VERY close. I just wanted to share this information with everyone and say good luck at the money dragon!
TheSleptKing
Nice stuff dude! You could save a space by using a Bastion over a Range and Sup def tho unless its costs alot more (haven't checked). Either way it's a neglible difference! at 400kc now with BP rip, gimme that dhcb

I usually get 4-5 kills a trip. I could probably make it a solid 5 each time. Adding 5 bastions used per hour (1 per run) minus the range and sup def would only be like an extra 25k per hour

Both seem a bit high but there is only a difference of like 10-20k hr

WG Gore Def
The wiki takes into account if you were to get things on the drop rate including uniques. That's why it's higher profit than your calcs. But I see a similar profit as your post with around 900 kc. Cheers nice post A tip for 7kc trips sometimes, 5-6 kc a trip average = bring 1 sara brew instead of super defence: 64hp in a bottle! I started using a bastion potion instead to save an invent space. 2 hours ago, Donatello said: i cant even kill it once after the quest Youtube my man. Honestly its all about knowing when it's about to do the acid or freeze phase. It's always after the 6th attack. I count the attacks in my head, then get ready. Always use pots and heal while walking during acid phase or when you're frozen so you're not wasting attack time.

Yeah I read that, but that's mostly for the defence. Sara brew gets you more hp allowing you to get an extra kill if you use the sara brew properly. So i'll try it out.
M Magileine
Typically, I will drink a 1 dose brew and restore at a bank. I will sip a ranging pot when I start the 1st kill. At the start of each new kill, I will eat to full/near full and then sip 1 dose brew, restore, ranging pot. I usually get 4 kills per trip. Just balance your prayer in such a way that you don't over drink when you go in between kills. Edit: you will have a 1 dose brew and restore at the end of 4 kills. You can use this within the kills as additional food/prayer, or use this to start from the bank at the next trip. Good luck.
