Shire Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 Hey Clanmates! Was chatting in Discord and decided that WG Book Club may be of interest to members who love to read! I am not sure how it would work, but if we can decide how many members are active readers/listeners (for audiobook listeners, it's all reading to me imho), we may begin to organize something great!! BTW, audiobooks are great for afk ;D Quote
Glaucon24 Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 You know any good audiobooks of Plato's Republic or other Platonic dialogues? WG Jester 1 Quote
Zutheris Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 I enjoy reading but mostly only read fantasy. I just finished "The Name of The Wind" last night. Quote

WG Jester Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 I like fantasy and sci fi. Mogworld, John dies at the end, the Percy jackson series and world war z are big favorites. I dont read read enough to be in a book club though. Quote
H58 Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 If we do one book a month I might have time Some of my fav books were: All the bright places - Jennifer Niven The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy - Douglas Adams Cats cradle - Kurt Vonnegut and a whole bunch of "self help" books, I mostly read non fiction or should I say used to. It's hard for me to find time these days to read much but one book a month is kinda standard for me at the moment. Quote

Orson Scott Card and R.A. Salvatore are probably my favorites. Not picky though, I'm down for whatever. Quote
iEmmybear Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 I would totally be up for this if anyone wants to revive this idea. Just let me know Quote
