In order to succeed as a clan we need more members above all else, and recruitment has failed us. After having talked it over with wg members at the meeting, we came to an agreement. A merge is required. I have had a night to think it over. The next question I asked myself was which clan to merge with. I considered zr and other clans on good terms with us, but what we need is the one clan most similar to us. Loves p2p. Passionate. Old school. Well known. It wasn't easy to pick a clan that had wg's shared attributes, but I am afraid RoT is the logical choice. We may be currently on bad terms with them and much weaker, but these issues can be resolved... and they must in order for us to move forward. We are not ready to merge for a while so this is clearly a very long term thing, but I know some old school rot, so i am confident I can persuade them when we are stronger. Unfortunately, rot seems pike the best option given their love for p2p and stability and similar timezones etc. --------------------  | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I am posting today for the very reason that yesterday it would have been seen as a prank. I knew it would sound.l crazy but of all the clans out there... rot is how wg was in its prime. Secondly asher, the sabres have too strong a history to merge. They are the oldest clan in runescape. For that reason rot is more logical. They don't honour their history. They have gone through many name changes and closures so a merge is reasonable. Third, I have already told several of you un the last few months that I have been considering a merge. We're looking at perhaps 8-10 months from now, so start idling in #r.o.t and stuff so that we can start to build relations... It's going to be difficult, but Lordy and I are confident that we can make a success out of it and that is the sole reason that we have gone ahead with this. We would never do anything that was going to harm WG without consulting you first and so this demonstrates that we expect success. I know what I am doing. I have nothing but wg's interests in my heart. I have worked more than 6 years for its benefit and I need peoples support for this to work. Rot won't merge if wg members don't support me. I need your trust in what I am doing. Remember that I have more leadership experience under my belt than anyone else. Help me help you. Rot strives for domination and with a boost from a larger, stronger wg, we can dominate the clan world. Edit: eregion, my grammar and speeling are down due to the use of my phone. As the merge is a long way off I am confident that you will eventually believe me as I continue to press the matter over the next few months.
