Hello there!

Ok two things.

The first thing is that we all wear a similar heraldic shield in-game. Team capes don't work because lots of noobs run around in them (ours is quite common). Sort of like how rot does the hairstyles. Something that can be identified as a WG member. The list of heraldic shields is here. It would have to be one without reqs and I think Asgarnia is the hawtest. On top of this, we could have elite guards be able to wear the heraldic helmet and the staff wear the banners.

The next thing is that we all "idle" or whatever in Varrock West bank. I know we used to do this in Edge bank, however it's all rot and people who are busy. We had a snowball event today near Varrock West bank and it was fairly busy and had lots of 100+'s. It's also right near the GE which is convenient.

I like the idea, and it would take a lot of individual effort to pull it off. However, I don't think WG members spend enough time bank standing or bank skilling to have more than 2 or 3 people there at most times.

I like the shield/helm/banner/ whatever idea

I like any of the designs tbh...

Edit: I like the skull one myself....Not really an "impossable" requirement to be skulled when talking to him.

Well, I can't say moving our idle-spot to Varrock would be useful at all - Edge is useful as it has a bank, general store, water, range, and access to the wildy about three steps from a cheap teleport spot.

Varrock west is a fair distance away from the Varrock telly spot(all of them), and requires teletabs or runes versus a piece of jewelry.

The only place that I can see being an idle spot instead of edge is the GE - its got a bank, the GE, and a couple teleports close, but I still like edge better.

No for the shield - I'M ALWAYS DOING SOMETHING and for liek slayer, tds, w/e else I need to use my shield spot

I like the concept of a common union identifying all clan members, actually I like all of the ideas. However, I really wouldnt participate in an item being used for this, 2 reasons:
1: I have very limited bank space, yes even 1 spot for a new item is too much.

2: When Im skilling I have specific items I wear for its attributes to that particular skill, i.e. Fally shield 3 or sara book when rcing.

Perhaps, at risk of being accused of copying another clan we could change our default char. Although I will admit I have thought that was very odd and unoriginal that most RoT members look the same, but now seeing it from another perspective I can really see its advantages and why it makes sense. As far as idling in a particular spot goes, I could easily be persuaded to go to a certain spot when skilling like herb or fletch, especially with quite a few of my friends and clan mates there. Imo that would definitely help with our public image and recruitment efforts. Sorry this turned into such a long post, but hope it provided some helpful input.

Actaually i think thats a good idea.
It could be fore idling and none combat events? Maybe even perhaps do a pk once in a while on f2p or something in the heraldic jsut to show off march around places etc etc. On the recuriment topic theres the brodoo + pink clothing dance thing maybe do a similar thing but in heraldic?
I dont mind getting a set and start fm again in edge showing it off

No it's not for when you're doing stuff it's for when you're not. Bank skills, chillin, WG events, etc.

Lol pretty sure we used that for an anniversary event or something. A whole set of items becomes a hassle

I would much rather just wear a wg cape than a shield which stuffs up my bank.

I prefer edge over varrock, regardlessly.

Personally, I don't see the point in these. I know I won't participate, not becuase I don't see the point. But I don't idle, I use the towns/banks whichever are easiest for me (if I happen to have an excess of duel rings, I use castle wars, glories for edge etc), and I don't just wear things like that. I have my outfit and like it lol.

Its not negative, its just true of the nature of playing for most people. If you are doing a lot of stuff moving around, skills, fighting, whatever you tend to not stick to one bank.

This idea would work well if there were hang out banks in the game like a few years ago before the grand exchange.

rune is mainly used in f2p making it Heraldic makes it go to a p2p item hence id never really ever use it lol so seems kinda pointless and when you have a DFS your not going to opt for a rune shield really any of the time lol

I dont tend to just hang around in game im on to pk or to do something lol so it would seem kinda pointless only way i can think of this being done is like some kinda name change or something like sabre name we use WG name. That would make a lot of sense i always said Runescape should be like GW were your guild name shows under your character name.

Maybe some kinda different uniform for f2p pks maybe like a rune helm h5 or whicherver you like or we did used to use the bucket helmets in F2P cwa to make WG stand out.

I think it would be better if we maybe identified an costume to wear at wg skill / fun events and then maybe something incorporated into pking aswell. Name change personally i kinda like the idea of i really wish jagex did offer more clan support and did provide a system like this.
