He was having internet troubles. For all we know he can't access the internet at all and was unable to make an inactivty post. After everything he's done for WG in the past, he should have been given the benefit of the doubt :S -------------------- | ||||

People have done the exact same.. Even council have done the same, and they were given Emeritus. There's no reason not to give him Emeritus. -------------------- | ||||

I was emeritus and gone for like half a year and only came on once in that period. its nice to know you are still part of something even when you are not here. What people are doing is using emeritus as thing to be active but pick what events you want to attend. Those people need to be put back to guardian. I would not like it or may not have come back to rs if i found i was "ex member". That's not strictly true Joe, Emeritus is expected to visit forums relatively often to maintain at least some contact with the clan.... 3 months inactivity is a bit shameful without some posted reason, and it really should have a set minimum of something like 1 forum visit a month or similar. I couldn't see the point in awarding Emeritus given the circumstances. Especially after getting raid leader and doing nothing. He could have stepped down when he knew he was going to be inactive. I have no problem with giving him Emeritus again, if you want it. But remember Emeritus means you must be willing to come to raids and wars when you're around. Something a lot of Emeritus are overlooking (we're currently discussing making a set of requirements to retain the Emeritus rank.) -------------------- Over 6 years of history and friendship, deleted over a difference in an opinion. --- Challenge any creationist to a debate. They'll run away and aggressively accuse you of "attacking" them and their "beliefs". I'm sorry, please, keep teaching our kids that they'll burn in hell if they don't believe. After you discuss the requirements to retain the Emeritus rank, could you please post your proposed requirements before actually making it official in Level One & Three Quarters because I believe the previous Emeritus who were given the rank were not under these requirements and I think we should get a say into what sanctions you are going to place on us.
