Not with a bang, not with a whimper, not even a sound. It's just going away. The members are doing nothing to even attempt to better themselves for the clan, the staff isn't pushing as hard as they can, and even I've been burnt out by it. I feel as if I do nothing anymore, and I don't even WANT to do anything anymore. I've just been carrying too much.. and finally done with it. I don't want to bother with a bunch of little immature brats that won't even attempt do help the clan. I'm sorry for leaving like this, but I just have had enough of members not caring for the clan. Call me hypocritical or whatever for stepping down like this, but I just don't want to have anything to do with a leadership position anymore. I'm just a really blunt person, and if anything I have said offends any of you, I probably won't take it back. I speak my mind. Basically, all I'm saying is, I hate the fact that I work for a clan that won't work for me. I'm done with it. Most likely will take emeritus in two weeks. --------------------  | ||

I personally think that WG has got a lot left though and we are not yet dead - far from it. I will keep working my best and play my part in helping us recover, and I know that I am not the only one. If I were in your position I do not think that I would be doing the same, but I respect your decision. I truly hope that you do reconsider. There are only a handful who, in my opinion, could follow in your footsteps. If not, then I wish you all the best in the clan world and wherever you go in real life. Its impossible to know how tough it is until you try it. No one can doubt that WG (and probably most clans) goes in clear waves. We reach great highs, begin to decline in acceleration, become really small scale and tight, and then people's actions help to set the clan on a new path and it rebuilds. Its always hard to know where you are in the cycles, and how easy it is to turn it around. Thing is, it can be turned around providing people are on board, with fresh ideas and new outlooks. It sounds like you definitely need a break. Its easy to let it get bogged down. I'd advise you take a rest kyle, it may do the world of good and give you the new motivation (and motivated leadership is extremely helpful for the clan). Allow people to generate new ideas and allow a fresh regeneration. If often seems as though people don't care, when 90% of the time it isn't true, they care but just don't show it. It takes effort from both sides to freshen up the mood and move forwards. I see almost no action from those with ranks and when we thought the anniversary would pull us out with massive activity, the activity levels have only shot down because the event leaders and raid leaders are scared to make anything during this month of anniversary. You are a great person Kyle. I honestly don't think I voted for you for council, because I thought you would turn council into a laughing stock. Your sense of humor and hard work actually made your work as a council member some of the best that I have seen. You were such a key person during the whole time that you were council, mainly because you were the one dedicated to the job. You did what you said you would do, and when it needed to be done, picking up the shit that other people left. You have some serious respect from me, and I wish we could hang out for a day before you go off to serve for our country. --------------------      | ||
