Yeah totally agree.

I was lazy for the last month on training combat until someone said to me "still 115 zooby? you've been that for like 3 months" and it was completely true. I'm picking up my game and leveling my account, being 58/68 isnt a good thing.

Very good point.

The clans commitment right now is very important, with clans like KO seeing us as such a threat they would want to implant a spy in our clan.

Now, we have a clan, that wants to hit us, and we want to hit them, which means we need everyone, ready to drop anything to quickly gear up and go hit KO at any opportunity we can, which means if you are at your computer, be on IRC/TS, so if anything comes up, we can tell you and we NEED you to be there, to help us.

So even if you dont enjoy playing runescape in your spare time, please be on IRC and/or TS so you can help us in important moments.

I've gained triple those guys xp in a week, with an inactivity post. hashdown.gif.png

The thing which I want to see the most is the lower leveled members training. Its good inspiration for a lot of people when they see a person join with 105 combat, and then 3 months later are 120+. That's true dedication.

This is a great post Kyle, thank you. Allow me to add my own two cents.

There are some members in WG that are not currently pulling their own weight. You may be playing 'Scape, but you aren't attending raids, wars, and events. Or maybe your real life is so busy that you are struggling to find any time to devote to WG.

If you are one of these people, and you'll know if you are, here is what you need to do:
1.) Pick up the pace.
2.) Take Emeritus (if eligible).
3.) Leave WG, and come back later when you can contribute more.

Option #1 is obviously the preferred option, and I am certain all who need to do option #1 can do it. The question is, will you do it?
_________________________________________________________

We need every single WG member to be a quality WG member.

Here is a little self-assessment "check-list" for where you are as a WG member. A quality member will have at least 5 of these 7 checked:
__ You actively play RuneScape for your own leisure
__ You attend most planned fights (wars)
__ You attend at least 1 raid per week
__ You attend at least 1 non-raid event per week
__ You regularly make quality forum posts
__ You actively chat in IRC
__ You actively chat on TeamSpeak

If you honestly can't check in 5 of these 7 items, you should take the initiative to work on your activity level, and in turn make yourself a better WG member. Your clan-mates will thank you for it, and you will feel better about your status in WG.

There are some exceptions to this, of course. You may attend so many raids that it makes up for your inactivity in IRC, for example.

However, there is always an aspect of your activity that you can improve upon - and that is the point I am trying to get at.

_________________________________________________________

Here is the bottom line: If you aren't contributing to the clan, you are hindering it, and you need to do more to help us.

This is a good quality post and I'm very happy that it was posted. Very Very good points and I'm sure that a few people reading this WILL know that they are one of the people that do need to catch up. I've got a few names in mind and I'm going to keep an eye on them, PM them if need be.

But right now I'm gonna idle on IRC cause i want some KO flesh neko2.gif

I noticed that the third one on your list is myself. Just remember when you are digging up dirt on your leaders and clan mates you have to get some dirt on yourself.

Good Luck finding a council person that can do it all.

Rachel, I think you are taking this too personally.

You obviously do so much for WG outside of RuneScape that it more than makes up for not gaining millions of XP per month.

Rachey chilllll.

I can only assume he was just providing examples. You help WG heaps, a lot more than I knew. This is post is aimed at our inactive unit. They know who they are. If you read kevins checklist you can see that you can check of most if not all.

Kyle has a good amount of exp gained

Not trying to cause trouble. Just sayin, it's possible. The whole point of this topic is to push those who might be falling behind to keep going. Theres no hostility here towards anyone, just a friendly reminder.

Kyle i believe you have no right's to have a stab like this at any clan members, some do hold a very strong social life, and have a life unlike some, "not saying any names for obvious reasons" but i believe, that those who dedicate their life to this clan and the game, need to grow up, there's much more to life than runescape. now im not saying everybody quit, but don't make it your number 1 priority, like calling in sick for wars, ITS A JOB, and if you do it too often, you won't have a job, but some of you won't think that this is a bad thing, you'll probably interperate it as a good thing, and say YAY! MORE RUNESCAPE time, but dude LAY OFF.

I think we've kinda gone off topic here.
To a Tea what he's saying is people need to train and practise.
BUt i dont think looking at xp is always the best way to do it.

I personally have only gained 774k xp this week. Not what i would call high.. But its been for a personal goal thats now finished (94 mage) I can assure you 90k an hour is not fun...

But people and i think most people will agree my time spent on rs is shared between money making and training..

Now we all know people have rl... no need to attack darth for saying he wishes people would play more. He as much as anyone im sure knows everyone has other things to do in there free time.

As i said in a post previously on another thread.
THree things wg needs to do

1. Practise
2. Practise
3. Practise.

Training is all good for one thing. But fi you dont know how to untilise those skills trained its pointless

I'm not attacking a single person in WG.

If I was, I would have left those names in and told everyone who those names were.

If people have trouble staying active for a clan because of real life commitments, I understand. There comes a point though to where people need to think if they are too inactive for WG, they should move on.

I also respect this post Kyle. I kinda know where your coming from to be honest. Some of my old clans had this problem .. such as CoS. What did we do to improve? CWA non stop traning and calling, piles, tanking, binding, etc. I see that anytime we have a CWA training event - people get lazy? How are you expected to learn how to tank, or exactly what Kyle posted in his post. Guys, Kyle knows you can do your best at wars, so show him what your made of. Wilderness Guardians - Unite.

Hold real practices regularly, sometimes that may mean using the prime time for raiding to practice instead but it's better to have 30 well trained people than 3. When I say real practice I don't mean 5 people hitting a person in full rune in FFA.

Max melee is the most useful thing, forget prayer, magic, range, summoning; if you have max melee that's a HUGE advantage in any type of fight.

i approve of what kyle said.
Maybe if your too busy with real life and no time for wg. maybe you should move on.
and i also agree its kind of weird haveing 68 members and only 20-30 showing up to events.

not stabbing anyone here but i probably party more than most-all of the clan and im still on for raids/events its not hard what he is saying is respectable maybe people don't train like me but im still at events, raids, and wars when im not working like 3pm east war on a sat i can make that and still go out at 10pm est to party seriously the social life doesn't come to much into play granite there is times im not on rs because of it. I will tell you this i have grown out of rs i stick round for WG and the community literally when im online i'am always multi pking so even when your grown from this game you still play because YOU WILL ALWAYS have free time.
