You have less of a chance of being reminded of events (i know you can originally check events here ) and you cant chat to your fellow clan members. Ironic? Because I said LOL? I have been in the channel for 4 hours and witnessed 15+ power abuse kicks. I was laughing at the fact that people were getting kicked for no reason, not the fact that I was enjoying the show. By the first few kicks it was apparent that no one was going to do anything... I was laughing at how the issue was out of hand, not because Planolocal was kicked. And your other point, "a bunch of teenagers looking for a laugh," do you mean just the half ops? Because 90% of the chatroom is made up of "a bunch of teenagers looking for a laugh" that have no power to kick people. So unless you give the rest of us the ability to kick people, the point of views are completely different. -------------------- | ||

Exactly. I have been in level three, I have read the IRC rules. I KNOW that there is a specific time when to kick people. Kicking people is the opposite of what has to be done. If I was to say "wow, you fail" 100% as a joke, the two options would be to A. Laugh or B. Ignore it. Even though it is a joke, and you may of taken offence from it, it still wouldn't be worth a kick. There are better way to express yourself. If WG is such a great community, then let the members actually be in the chat to witness it. -------------------- | ||

The first couple Joe and Kiwi one's were to. I'll admit, they did deserve them later on. There was a few during the spamming. You're missing Pyro's too. Even those 3 you listed are 3 too many. You can't "provoke" being kicked. All that means is that the person was too immature to do the right thing. The right thing is part of the job. There is nothing in the rules that say "If you say something funny, you will get kicked." It's only done so the halfop/op can have some laughs, not because they're supposed to. -------------------- | ||

Rob didn't respond so how could we no we were annoying him. When we rejoined all I saw were people going epic fail, gf, nice..... 3. We need to war more than just the o so amazing cwpl fights and the gay triforce tactic war. 4. Banning me from #wg+lobby for putting [Martyr] in front of our names is not a bannable offense b/c is started w/ me and joe joking around w/ that not meaning anything and lets not forget there have been much worse nicks in the irc so piss off and stop pmsing about a joke. 5. Ok for hops to spam and not banned. I remember a certain occurance where hops spam for bandit spots, b/c some1 scored a goal in a game, b/c they got a good drop and so on.........well blow me b/c me and a few others went and spammed "get us a war", or "make rob get us a war" when some1 said "only i can ask rob to get us a war" when they spammed it also(a hop). but yea. I admit i was kicked most of the time today for a good reason, however a few of the bans by people other than rob(i deserved that after probably the 5th failed attempt at a kb) were totally undeserved. Not to mention im guessing around 1-49 have reasons,50-300+ kicks a day on the irc are not kicked for an actual reason. As one of my bans today said in the reason part. Bite me. I can see the occasional kick for fun, but when a member asks not to be kicked. Stop. I had my fill last week and said something. It didn't stop until I went to far and actually deserved it. Seriously if some1 says stop like pyro/other mems have. Stop and dont test them. If the person has a since of humor, only kick them when your joking around and its a fit time. Not just random kicks. Also. I am against all of the future 2 week challenges as it is hell for the clan members that get kicked and causes many many people to think about quiting. --------------------  | ||
