      IRC Nickname: Yingy Group: Clan Friend Posts: 2205 Member No.: 27 Joined: December 30, 2007 Total Events Attended: 21    | As many people may know, Many members of the Wilderness Guardians are members within other clans such as GWD Clans, PC Clans and Clans Wars Clans. It has come to my attention that many of these members join the PC clans just in order to leak the world to many of their lower level friends, as you may know this is against PC Clan rules and should NOT be done. Today (16th June, 2008) PCE (Pest Control Elites) and their allies where currently using a world when a Wilderness Guardian member who shall remain nameless logged into the world and began to act in a very disrespectful manner, many of WG's members are also members of PCE and would not like to be incriminated everytime a member of the same Runescape clan joins the same world and game then begins to disrespect them. The nameless person has acted in a very disrespectful manner and also telling them that he is in the world and leaking to himself and will not give up his source. This is not wanted as many members of WG use PC to train combat and do not want complications everytime they go. This has an effect on us all and after this evening i expect that PCE have lost a little bit of respect because of this members actions. Myself and a friend (lvl 126) have been Pest Controlling most of the day and when the nameless member began to do what he did incriminated me and this other player as we both have contacts in WG.

Especially if they don't even try to kill the portals. That person better buck up. Letting the odd level 90 into a 100+ world isn't too bad, as long as they cooperate and they then don't leak it. Ideally though, the world should be pure. I remember those days when eckzr did it, he had 25 level 120's and no low-levels. We were warned that WG could possibly be a 'leak clan' (leak clans usually end up being blacklisted from the alliance) and to be cautious when dealing with them. Since this morning, i've been calming things down in the alliance in regards to us, ensuring this isn't a leak clan, so all those members of WG in any of the alliance teams should now be safe. It's worth mentioning as we're on this topic that you must really never beg a friend in WG for the Pest Control world. Doing this not only ends up getting the person in question blacklisted from all alliance teams, but now that we're in this situation could cause the entire clan being blacklisted from all teams :\ (Wonder if they'd even kick me  )Like Madd says, if you're in both WG and Retribution/PCE then if you're in Retribution I advise re-reading the rules found here. ~Mugger84 -------------------- Mugger84 Member Of WG Since 4th April 2008. Think about what Mugger said, If a member of WG leaks the PC world, it will have an affect on the other members of the same PC clans as that member. Aardvark is right, If someone is caught leaking to a RS clan the clan the leaker is in becomes blacklisted or that member becomes black listed which damages the chances of more members joining the PC Clan. In the long run, Actions from one member can affect us all whether its WG's members being blacklisted or the whole clan black listed. The nameless person almost cost WG to be black listed as i have already said. Please DO NOT leak the worlds to anyone. It is against the rules. PCE have already lost abit of respect for WG because of this members actions, Don't add to it. If my words mean anything... i'd strongly advise against it If caught by any staff member of any of the alliance clans (eight of them (each with AT LEAST 15 staff members)) then you'd be flagged in the alliance channel. From further investigation when found to be in WG, as WG as a whole have already been flagged, it wouldnt only result in EVERYONE in WG who is also in one of the eight pc clans (RETRI - BH - HU - LTPC - PCE - PCN - SF - SP) being let down (kicked out) and there would be nothing I could do to stop it :\Before leaking guys, always think of WG as a whole. They are free for anyone to come or go. 1st- How can u get caught for leaking? 2nd- Does it matter if you leak since the portal is 100+ now? Not really 3rd- How does leaking hurt a pc clan when it brings in more people.(you have a fhking 7 clan alliance ffs) 4th- How am I hurting wg if I give the pcw to wg(why else would I give some1 a pcw). P.S- If I ever get caught I will take the full blame and make up some excuse to make sure no1 else gets fhked with. Nothing has changed from what it was, if u leak you get kicked. I was leaked to to get my cmb and att lvl 99. If I am at pc, and a trustworthy member of wg asks me for the world i will give it to them or tell them to add me and follow the worlds I go to. -------------------- | ||||||||

1- In Retribution, to track leaking, our bot has special scripts built in to track probability that one person in particular is leaking in our clan (from how often a specific noob is spotted on our worlds). Also, we /whois the nick and find their IP and nicktrack it, and find their mains clan, and it continues from there. We have many other ways, but if i told you them they'd be easily avoidable. 2- Yes it does, 110+ worlds and 100+ worlds can appear VERY different in quality. We've experimented with lowering the requirements before. 3- It brings in <110s so that the world quality decreases rapidly (thus the need for us to hop worlds every now and then, the 100-110 decrease the world quality to such an extent that the world loses its 100% win rate). 4- By leaking the PCW while in WG, as WG have already been flagged as a possible leaking clan (despite my efforts :\), it would mean that their suspicions are answered and that members of WG do indeed leak. When dealing with clans, the simplest thing is to blacklist the whole clan, and i really really dont want this to happen in WG's case <3 Please dont leak.
