However something recently did annoy me rather alot, Eugene however didn't share with you all about the recent "spy/leaker" on the WG boards. Oh, it was me. But if you think it was leaking something bad, think again. it was about the WG T-shirts. Yes, those. I was on vent with a friend of mine, he asked me what i was doing i replied "just browsing the wg forums, catching up stuff i've missed, just reading about this wg t-shirt thing". He then asked me what it looked like, so i took a screen shot of it and showed him, he said it looked alittle plain and then asked how much they cost so i told him. I didn't think i was doing anything wrong at the time, i was just talking to him on vent about random stuff. So frankie being himself.. (my friend) he came in the wg lobby asking about them. Eugene went insane and i read his "spy in the forums" post, so i said talked to him about it, me not thinking i haven't done anything wrong. Alas, i was wrong, i recieved a 24 hour ban from the site and IRC, but this ban turned into a 36 hour ban, which just annoyed me even more. After reading some of the replies on the Important Anouncements topic, i basically think you all think of me as some sad loser who spies over a game, but to be honest... i didn't even do anything seriously wrong, it was a misunderstandting at the most. I know i haven't been the most active member this month, i've had to go in hospital, i've started a new job which my working hours don't go well with WG event times. I don't even deserve higher guardian, how i got it.. i don't know. This isn't me asking for Emeritus either, because let's face it, i don't deserve it. i'm lucky i'm even still in this clan, but i can't stay hear when i get suspended for something so small and something that didn't really matter and it didn't even get out to anyone. I also can't stay hear when i read the replies on that Important Anouncements topic. Sorry to those people who do actually like me in wg, Tabs i'm extremely sorry to you. I know you don't want me to leave but i thought about this the last few days or so. Again, sorry to Eugene, you feel like i've betrayed you or something. soo.. yeah that's it. You all should know that it is strictly forbidden to screenshot forums and give them out, yeah fair enough that you wished to tell your mate that WG was making a T shirt and its price etc etc. but the suspension was more for the fact that you had screenied the forums than what was actually leaked. As for the IA, well yeah at the time of people writing that people didnt actually know what had happened. Anyway Pete Its sad to see you go, you could have made a great raid leader but unfortunately your health and work have meant that you were unable to do so. I know I'm not, but I still think it's somewhat ridiculous. The way the IA came across was that it was secret information that anybody else shouldn't know about. But in fact, it was about T-Shirts. It's not THAT big of a deal that should have results in a ban. If ANYTHING, a warning. I understand that it's the concept, not the actual facts, but I think you would've made your point by just saying to him that he's not allowed to screenshot the forums. It was about the concept of him screenshotting the forums and leaking information. =\ The Council has to do what they believe is right for the clan. It's one of the hardest jobs out there, because they have the balls to listen to everybody bitch at them for what they think is right. Pete's a good friend of mine. I don't want him to leave.
