What it is:
It is P2P.

This is a tournament that will run internally within WG, each member that signs up will be given another member to fight in a one-on-one deathmatch within the Duel Arena.

After I run signups for several days I will assign each person a target, they will then arrange a fight with this person within 3 days - The winner continues to the next round, the loser drops out.

After all the fights for that round are over, I will set up the fights for the next round, until we have a winner.

NO SUMMONING.

(You will get 1 attendance point if you are involved in 1-2 duels, 2 if you're in 3-4 duels and 3 if you're involved in 5+ duels. Forfeit and you do not get attendance.)

What gear do I need?

To stop those who are too rich for their own good winning every round with a quick Godsword KO, I've set a restricted list of armour/weapons you can use. It is MELEE ONLY.

Here is a list of things you may swap each item for:

Neitiznot Helmet:

• Berserker Helmet
• Warrior Helmet
• Rune Full Helmet

Amulet of Glory:

• Amulet of Strength
• Amulet of Defence

Rune Platebody:

• Rune chainbody
• Fighter Torso

Rune platelegs:

• Rune plateskirt

Dragon Boots:

• Any armour boots (Bronze, Iron, Steel, Black, Mithril, Adamant, Rune)
• Bandos Boots
• Climbing Boots

Barrows Gloves:

• Any gloves

Ring of Recoil:

• Explorer Ring (+1 prayer bonus)
• Warrior Ring (+4 slash bonus)
• Berserker Ring (+4 strength bonus)

Obsidian Cape:

• ANY other cape including Fire Cape.

Abyssal Whip:

• Any Dragon weapon (no Godswords, no barrows, etc)

Drag Dagger (p++):

• Any Dragon weapon (no Godswords, no barrows, etc)

Rune Defender:

• Toktz-Ket-Xil (Obsidian Shield)
• Rune kiteshield
• Rune square shield

FAQ

Can I use Barrows armour?
No.

Can I use Godwars armour?
No.

Can I use Godwars weaponry?
No.

Can I use range or mage?
No.

Can I use a different potion setup?
Yes, but no Saradomin Brews - This is old school style.

Can I use Prayer within the arena?
Yes, all prayers are allowed with the exception of:

• Protect from Melee
• Smite

Can I change a part of my equipment, not according to the list above?
No, EXCEPT with the agreement of your opponent.

What happens if we have an odd number of signups?
The earliest signups will get byes to the next round.

What if I have more questions?

Can I bring extra equipment in my inventory and swap during the fight?
Sure, if you like. Assuming it follows the list of allowed items.

How do I organise the fight?
The list of opponents will be posted on this thread, you will have to PM your opponent and organise a fight, remember the fight is at the Duel Arena. It's best of 1 ROUND - If you get KO'ed, that's it - it's over. Sorry.

When do signups close?
They're now closed.
