Tonight in IRC Abs came online, we had our usual exchange of comments. Abs doesn't take offence at these but still Jess stepped into our conversation while we were messing around purely because she was LOOKING for a reason to abuse her power against me. *I then went on to explain various possible reasons and examples of this, but have since removed them*
While I can admit my comments were slightly offensive and despite their obvious joking manor, I would also like to point out that my punishment was already dealt with there and then on IRC. (21:30:10) * You were kicked from #wg by Jesseh (Quit it, or you are getting an 1h ban). No subsequent comments were made yet I was still given a warn level. I was not informed of this warning level, I merely KNEW she'd be a spiteful as possible in this case so I checked my profile and yep, there it was. The punishment procedure has always been three strikes and you're out. 1. Verbal Warning/kick from IRC with warning. 2. Temporary kick-ban with reason and explanation as to why said behaviour was unacceptable. 3. If intolerable behaviour persists, a 20% warning is issued and a PM is sent explaining. Step 2 was completely ignored & I was never informed of my warn. What ever happened to free speech on the internet anyway? This is the internet, find me ONE member that has never looked at porn or laughed at a rude joke and I will personally rebut every mildly offensive word I've ever uttered. -------------------- Over 6 years of history and friendship, deleted over a difference in an opinion. --- Challenge any creationist to a debate. They'll run away and aggressively accuse you of "attacking" them and their "beliefs". I'm sorry, please, keep teaching our kids that they'll burn in hell if they don't believe. Of course it was a joke, but it could have been offensive to others listening. Stuff like this happens all the time, but we can't give warning levels out all the time or so many people would have warning levels. However, she did give you a warning though.

Defend your actions or state why the warning was unjust but if you've got a problem with harassment from a staff member you should contact another staff member to have it resolved. I can kind of see this thread going down hill. Already some people are reprimanding Jess for something she was within her means to do just because of the context of this thread.
