I"m so proud to know that you guys are still around--even if you aren't strictly non-pk, at least noble ideals and clan unity are still hallmarks of WG.

You'll always have my support if you ever need it. (Although I doubt there is much I can provide that you can't provide for yourselves.)

Maybe I see some of you in game. If you do, as some of you know, I'll probably be working on my skills.

DOC!!!!
Add me right away on RS!
I've missed seeing you SO much.
Really, it's so great you stopped by.
I thought I'd never see you again.

Most of WG won't remember you.
I think you'll remember Flame Reece and Myself.
Jenny will too, and Gibble... perhaps Georgio?

I don't think anyone else was around in your days.

Guys, this is the FAMOUS WG Docster.
He used to be our clan smith and smith steel for us.
He was there on our first Runescape classic raids.
He's been through a lot and he was a council member at one short stage.
But then he took on a lesser role so he could have more free time.
And soon we started seeing less of him.
Now here he is.
Doc I think you were one of the first 20 guardians, weren't you?
Wow the memories just come flooding back.
I feel so young again.
So you are still working in the marine biology field?
Tell me what's going on!

(I'm really excited)

Hello Doc! Of course I remember you! The most famousest of skillers ever. How is the family? How goes the work?
I think last time we talked you were doing marine biology work in Florida. That was quite a while ago though.
Hope you are well, it is so nice to see you!

I can vaguely remember having you on my friends list during the first DG. Unsure if we ever actually spoke. Although i did notice your name the moment i saw you were the last registered user on these forums.

Great seeing old faces back in WG. It would be great if you chose to rejoin us.

Thanks Tezza Rulz12, Gibble00, Iron This, Dorcha3377, His Lordship--
It is always nice to be remembered, especially remembered in a positive way.

I have moved a couple of times since being in the clan—went from Los Angeles, California to Miami, Florida to small town Mississippi. I’m still doing some molecular biology work on marine organisms, but now I have my own laboratory at a university. (You can call me professor or doc, now. lol)

My family and I are doing really well. We have happily given up the big-city life in favor of small-town, rural living. Even with the increased demands from my new job, there is much less stress overall.

Game wise, I’m still in the clan Council of Dragons. I’ve been happy there, but, day by day, it’s becoming more and more inactive. Maybe that is OK, as I am usually focused on just raising my skills in order to be self-sufficient.

But no matter what, WG will always be my first and favorite clan. With all of the changes to the wilderness, I guess the idea of random pk’ing is dead. How is ‘we are…the shield of the innocent’ still practiced or relevant to the clan?

Glad to hear that you're doing well Doc wink.gif , small town living has its perks I guess. It's what I'm used to, but I'll be in LA for a couple of weeks this summer, hopefully with an internship.

I'm retired from Runescape myself, but we're still trying to keep some of our original values, although with the new Wilderness setup, everyone pvping is pretty much an rpker. In a strange way, the innocents have been permanently protected. We can't really be portrayed as the 'shield of the innocent' anymore, or an anit-pking clan (because that sort of practice no longer exists), but we keep our strong community aspects and go on as clan that can appeal to skillers and fighters alike.

"We are the shield of the innocent."
It means much more than antiRPKing.
It's looking after the people that get victimised.
It's defending proper moral values.

I wasn't around when you were here, I joined on April 2, 2005.

Seeing as how a lot of the veterans know you, and praise you I'm sure you meant a great deal to this clan.

Nice to hear from you.
