If they aren't too encumbersome I think I'd like to get one of my own and check especially my dps during a fight. For some reason I can't seem to get above 1,166 dps in a heroic which is bothering me; if I have my own meter I can practice a few things differently and be able to check them more easily. -------------------- | ||||

Recount is the best performing Meter and I'd recommend using that one. Another way to do it is to donwload WoWWebStats, record your logs, and have a VERY detailed view of anything you did over the period you recorded those logs. http://www.wowwebstats.com --------------------   | ||||

WWS is the best if your a raid leader, as it allows you to put the stats of every raid member up on the website for everyone to view. To start off it's pretty simple actually, but you'll have numerous questions as you uncover more of the game. There's a lot of things that you won't understand until level 80 and raiding. But until that time, you shouldn't have to many troubles figuring anything out. -------------------- | ||||

| IRC Nickname: Wayne|Eregion2 Group: Emeritus Posts: 3087 Member No.: 156 Joined: January 25, 2008 Total Events Attended: 8 | From my experience, you just grind the hell out of it until you're within four levels of the level cap; that's when you start getting gear that you'll keep long enough to invest in and otherwise be trying to maximize your damage, healing, etc. I'm really liking the theorycraft with endgame content.  I also out-damaged everyone in a heroic UK run tonight, it was a blast:  PS: It'll be quite a bit different depending on how you play and who you play with tbh; I never ran instances before hitting Northrend so I could pretty much do whatever I wanted. If you group alot, people will expect a bit more "professionalism" I guess, depending on your class, but overall it doesn't get heady until endgame stuff. Also, don't think of grinding as a bad thing, WoW quests are awesome compared to RS... -------------------- | ||||

We had one death last week on Patchwerk of all bosses, a melee opened up a second to fast. I'm making amazing profit off of JC. Buying Saronite at 19g a stack, seeling gems at 50-120g a peice (cut), making green rings from the uncommon gems and D/E'ing those. I'd say a solid 2-3k a day. -------------------- | ||||

Then again my guild only has like 1 lvl 80 hunter...
