AntiRPKing and the moral codes seem to be a thing we missed in recruitment.
I think people really need a sense of fighting for something more than the sake of fighting. People need a cause.

I think it's time to take up the old causes of antiRPKing and honourable combat.

Ok well before i joined WG i was a complete idiot and i had been in a few RSB clans lol anyhow I decided to look through those cheesy runescape ranking sites WG was 1 of the top sites on there and it said something like an hugely underated clan with a great leader. I thought i would check it out as i met the requirements and once i finally figured out how to get into the IRC. I got a really nice walm welcoming from Xena who was council of WG at the time and i thought that it was a really good clan so i joined. Sometime later i realised your all just a big bunch of noobs tongue.gif Also another thing i liked was the ANTI RPKing aspect i hated being killed as a skiller lol.

ARPKing codes brought me here as well, but I honestly think it's kind of outdated. You have to adapt to the people that you want to recruit, and I think the experienced recruits WG seeks will laugh at the concept of ARPKing now that the the wilderness is nerf'd. The main threat for the innocent in the wilderness now aren't other PKers (virtually everyone in PvP worlds are looking for a fight) but revenants...

However applying a strict moral code isn't a bad idea, as that value is being torn apart in the clan community today (war crashing etc).

I first discovered WG when I was around combat lvl 80 or so. I was looking to join a clan so I googled RS clans, and came up with WG through a top 100 clan site. I was linked to the website, and I have to say it was more the music that brought me in more than anything else.

I started reading the forums, and found out that WG had a code of honor, and joined shortly there after.

Been waiting so long for someone to say that biggrin.gif

What brought me to WG? Well, I could make a list but it'd include pretty much everything that WG is. When cXs closed, WG was pretty much the only community clan left in RS, so I suppose the biggest reason I joined was for community.

all I no is that wg was like the #2 clan on rs100 or something. I was in tunescape.....wg pwned tunescape at their pk's. Tunescape had no organization, wg did. I knew Fcmsaab, stacy, and many others from ts in wg at the time. O......and anti-rpkin was legit.....I think the first time i truely protected someone was when mathsnerd said he was doing a tt when he was like...idk lvl 90(under reqs but soon trialing" and i was like....if u need to go to the wild.....ill defend u. And I went up there with him and i dont think we saw anyone the whole entire way......but my heart wasabeatin.

QuikdrawJoe, Valdremia, and Theevildead2 are the ones that gave me a biased pick to WG.

What made me want to train up and join WG was seeing WG in the top 25 RAW (I knew nothing about clan warring, so I looked at RAW for a basis of top clans) after I wanted to try something knew. With the lower requirements than others and the ability for me and my friend (Dave/Dav 13/Toshortofnam) to join WG together, it made me look more and more into WG. So knowing people in WG and also the open doors that WG seemed to have to the lower levels.
