Its alright saying that some of us (me included) need tank practise. But hell people need to train as well. Theres no point trying to tank above your level if you dont have a defense level thats gonna actually help you.
Anyone think of what level that should need to be?

Defence level is kinda important. But tanking requires a little bit of luck aswell. If 10 people all hit you at the same time, even with 99 def, you would need to be spam clicking them pizza's..

But a decent defense level is around 90-95.

The pain in the arse with tanking practice, you'll all agree, is fighting for nothing, taking time for air.

At the war with DW, it was clear who needed practice (me included).

So why don't we just gather the names of a few people who got the most horribly KOed during a war, and practice right after the war?
Take say, 10 minutes, go back into the CWA, pile the shit out of those 4-5 people until they can eat up correctly...?

Hes good... This could work, just get with the people who you think need practice, compile a list and say that if they are not at this practice they do not get to participate in the next war. Maybe? You would have to work around times and such with them as well.

Well, if those people who get KOed don't have the will to stay around for practice, they clearly don't want to improve, clearly don't show any dedication, and you get an effective filtering through the ban hammer in case of constant refusal to practice...

More experienced people can just trade them away? I know I don't mind.

Money shouldn't be a problem.
If you know your bank isn't great, go work on it.
You could also have the option of making those pizzas by hand.

./facepalm

keanu, you always have to be so negative.

come january, every member is going to have cash to buy the required sets, and if WG needs to host weekly godwars again like we used to, then they will.

But wg can only do so much to help every member, whether it be tanking or buying sets.

Its up to you to get off your ass and go make money and train.

If people suck at tanking, they can be expected to lose ALOT more sets and ALOT more food. If you suck, they will nail you again and again.

Money literally grows off trees these days.

Not for everyone. Most good methods nowadays require high levels and lots of money (for boss hunting armour, sets, etc.)

And its the lower leveled people who aren't rich who need money. Lower level poor people cannot just go solo corp and make millions instantly.

And yes, I think WG should have a biweekly GWD/DK event. With 10+ people we could literally stay there forever.

And pizzas are pretty easy to make. You just buy full inventory of RFD tomatos and cheese, buy plain pizzas from the Warriors Guild and you can probably get ~50 pizzas a day from spending 5 minutes of work.

You don't know boss hunting.

Solo corp is crap.

Gear reqs is a lame excuse, thats why we have masses. You rarely if ever have to eat at a bandos or saradomin mass Hell any mass(except corp it will kill you).

I refuted all your points with boss hunting. I'm also a self proclaimed expert at it woeh.gif

Not that there is a degree for that anywayz lulz.

If I make mass to GWD and get enough people you should come. I probably will late this week or early next. I expect everyone that needs money to be there. I will offer any help necessary. This is your choice of course, you can make the money yourself.

Barrows merely requires pray pots and decent mage stuff. Good mil+ drops. Again good money, not my favorite but ya neko2.gif
