If we are cracking down on spam that may make it a bit rough for the new to forum people to get the count. They have to be able to get comfortable with posting. That's why I never say anything to the trials or newer members that do the short messages.

I disagree with removing the 30 posts thing.
As Jayson said, we have aprox 10 new topics a day, and 20 old from the previous day, and although obviously these are not all readable for guests etc, it is not hard for them to get 30 posts.
