I'm glad to have Keanu back, I won't deny that, but I do not think that their ever should have been a Historian Rank and I really don't think it should be given back after the TBK issues...

This, I don't understand.

Firstly let me 100% disggree with this:

The rank is not pointless. I never said that. It is simply not vital.
It is a bonus that we have.

Between Keanu leaving the first time and now, he's done me no personal favours, so I genuinely and curiously want to know where his current image of kiss-ass is coming from.

I don't want you to lose faith.
I want you to look at my situation and convince me that there's a better option.

The scenario:

WG is on a bleak path going nowhere. Even with Randy staying, getting this old clan into gear is difficult. Keanu presents me with a unique chance. Love him or hate him, there's no denying there's nobody like him. There's also no denying that he loves WG. If drastic changes are not made, we are doomed to stew here in mediocrity.

You have all become so accustomed to comfort, settling down into middle age, that you have forgotten what a risk feels like. WG 3 years ago would not have objected so violently.

You are carrying all his sins around in your pockets, ignoring the merits of having someone this active.

Immaturity.
Go back to my original post and note my request for courtesy and maturity.
Same goes for your DZ and others I HAVE read. I don't want to be sworn at in this topic.

I want to talk this through and here some reasonable, intelligent debate.

Keanu in no way shape or form deserves a rank that over powers elite guardian when they put little effort to getting it back, if he loved wg he wouldnt make another clan, he would try to be understandable, He was asked to leave, and when he left we laughed at his leaving topic it was that bad. Even after him leaving, he continued to make a negative impact on our community with the keanu go train jokes and him just being around trying to 1+ people. The Person you see as the biggest positive bubble of positiveness, most of wg sees as a person who doesnt belong.

I agree with this entirely.
However, the Historian rank should be REMOVED.
He can keep track of WG as a regular rank. There's absolutely no need for it.

We are not a democracy. WG has never been run as a democracy. Gene has final say and the clan all knows this. Even myself as the longest serving council has to adhere to the final decisions that Gene makes.

He allows us to run the clan and oversees what we do. We can experiment with little or big changes but ultimately Gene rules over the clan.

I don't get where anyone thinks it is all about a vote or the majority gets their way??? Has it ever been like that in WG? Not in the time I've been here.

All the crazy fuss over this rank for Keanu is a bit insane. Here we are at day 5 or 6 now and still arguing the point? Why? Keanu can graduate in about 8 days and get the rank anyway. You are wasting your time with the battle. It should of been fought at the TS Meeting or posted on the TS Recap. But I didn't see a lot of disagreement then.

Seriously this is rather disturbing to see how willing you are to question Gene's good intentions for the clan. When do you really know him to purposely hurt you guys. I'm not saying he is never wrong. Even I have disagreed with Gene and had our own battles. But at the end of all this, I see a great leader you are beating down for wanting to do what he thinks is going to make WG a better place for all of you to play your game for fun. In fact it is a bit shameful.

Even after reading your protests and reasons, I still believe Keanu is the best person for the Historian Rank. Why wait to give it to him for *8 more days*??? Seriously all this fighting with us, is it worth it in the end? He can post his graduation when he is in the clan two weeks. He agreed to do that before all this insanity even started. Like it was agreed on at the TS meeting. (That people didn't attend and apparently didn't fully read the recap.)
