In all fairness, you probably shouldn't be on a game-related forum anyways. Really, you're at your own risk regardless. I'm sure if your boss was aware of the purpose of the forums, it would be frowned upon anyways. Really, it's not the sigs at fault, you could make an arguement that any sig is detramental to maintaining your job, as the bright colors on the screen would attract attention to any idea, regardless of nudity being present or not. As I currently type this, the things that stick out like a sore thumb the most are the ranked skill underbanners for skills. Everything with images stands out, thats why advertisements are all flashy and animated. They are made to attract attention, so, any image on a website is doing just that. If you want to remove the near-nude sigs, you really have to remove all of them. Like, even something small like that stands out from a great distance away, so, any image really can be considered attention grabbing. It really depends on the boss, and not the image. The site itself is revolved around gaming, if your bosses are fine with that, then really it shouldn't matter anyways. If you've already been granted permission to be on the site, then you stating that it's completely out of your control that the signatures/images exist, you shouldn't be held accountable for looking at near-pornographic images. -------------------- Kingdom of Edgeville | ||||||||

I'm not trying to hide the fact that I'm reading the forums. If I wasn't allowed on them at work I wouldn't be on them. BUT if any of my coworkers happened to look over my shoulder and see a signature they found to be offensive they could sue the college for sexual harassment and have me fired. That's in general addition to the fact that the signatures are 1) inappropriate and 2) my little brother and sister might happen to see them since our computer is in the living room, which would be awkward and might possibly get me grounded from the computer. Basically it'd mean that whether I'm at work or at home I'd have to CONSTANTLY pay attention to what's in everyone's signature while I'm reading so I don't get in trouble; I don't want to have to do that so if we can just keep all the signatures clean there's no issue. I couldn't post on two other threads today because I couldn't read Lego's posts to reply to them because his signature is rather ... prominent. I'll have to check back on those when I get home tonight in like 6-7 hours. Kind of defeats the purpose of having forums if members can't read them.  -------------------- | ||||||||

But, I'm sure that there are a bunch of people that come on the site when they probably shouldn't, be it work (not in your case), school, or possibly even at home if there is a restriction by parents. So, really, the whole site in general can be taken into question, and not just signatures. Don't get me wrong, I still see your point, and I agree to it to an extent, some of the sigs are on the fence, if not crossing onto the other side so to speak. No big deal though, I occasionally do make sigs that might be close to the fence, but, if asked by you or whomever else though negatively against it, I would certainly remove the sig.
