I don't see where my event count has any bearing on this whatsoever.  I'm in the IRC everyday and see what goes on there AND on the forums.  Let's not forget that I also have people coming to me every single day and talking to me about things that are bothering them, or to chat about the exact things that I post about.

I don't have to attend events to know what's going on so your point is moot Maths.

Thanks for getting an opinion from the other side. hash.png

By reading the forum. You can get the general idea of someone's opinion about things. But I'd love to hear your side sometime in IRC. You can pm me any time you want to chat.

look, it doesnt matter what we prefer

we are all pink on the inside, and thats what counts

forget all this crap its an absolute joke, who honestly gives a fuck if a person doesnt like to war, THEY ARE GOING TO THE WAR ANYWAY, SO IT DOESNT MATTER

and does it matter if people choose not to wake up at 5am for a skill event? fact is wars determine whether this clan lives or dies, skill events do not

im not saying they dont matter, i love skill events, hate wars, but fact is that wars are a shitload more important. all this flaming over something as stupid as this is worse than our last major flame

Did I miss an anouncement? If I did please link me.

Where does it say that I have to go to war?

Actually you got the part of whether the clan lives or dies right. If all these lil family wars keep going on the clan will not flourish as it could. It could be a slow painful death. Wars are not what make this clan, it is the people who love each other and spend time together.

Tell me one successful clan that is not built on friendships. Just just name one.

Tis what i have been saying all along, i voiced my opinion about warring over skilling and i got flamed for it, i agree with you 100% rachel. You do not have to attend a war if YOU do not wish. Runescape is ment to be fun! Not a chore.

You don't HAVE to war... just like you don't HAVE to be in WG.
It is a condition whilst in WG that everyone has to sign up to war, and they are expected to be there unless occupied IRL.

That's how it goes. I'm sure even someone that doesn't like warring can put up with a war once every three weeks.

That wasn't the subject of the thread. You'd know if that if you read the first sentence. -.-

I actually have, I kinda forgot what the topic was about after I read page 2, my apologies l:

On topic though: I feel that peaceful discussions are fine as long as they don't go to the flaming way, I mean, sometimes I'd like to know the skillers point of view, and they might want to know mine as well. If done without flames, it has lots of benefits in the long run.

rach, i know exactly where you are coming from, i hate wars, but i still go if i can because its good for the clan. we just need to put up with like 1 hour every 3 weeks for one war. but in 3 weeks there are like 15+ skill events.

lets just stop fighting and agree to disagree

Thanks I think his post was after mine.

Gene rules so in 3 weeks I guess I'll know where I can be. I'll either be at a war or out of WG.

How about this for an idea?

Everyone does the official big wars that really matter to the clan's image, the once every 3 week ones. Those are important to everyone here, like it or not. You can take a bit of time out of your month of raiding or skilling to do this, everyone should at least sign up, and attend as many as possible.

Between those 3 weeks, you can either fight, pkri, etc, or skill and do other events. THIS is where I believe sectors came in handy, so it was more organized for this part. EVERYONE in ALL the sectors(Skilling, Fighting, and Combined) went to wars, and we also had a Community sector for people like me, emeritus, guest, ex-member, etc. I personally thought it worked very well, and it inspired competition rather than hate between the groups.

IMO what you do in this clan is entirely up to you, but the big wars are important to our image to the rest of the clan world.
