Steelers, tbh, don't need another title. And their fans just suck, just as bad as Jets/Eagles/Raiders fans. Never go to a Steelers game if you're rooting against them. Your life will literally be in danger.

you will be pummelled. repeatedly.

+ whoever said we woud TIE the 49ers if we won, we would actually PASS them. no team has yet to win 6 Superbowls.

Cowboys have 7, I believe... But who cares, they're the cowboys. evilneko.gif

Go Cards!!! I think the Steelers will win, but hey, I can pray that the laughingstock of the NFL can actually win the Superbowl! Fitzgerald is a BEAST!!!! The Cards do actually have a chance at this if the Steelers Offensive line starts to suck again like it did earlier in the year against Philly, where Ben got sacked like 9 times...

As of the 2008 season, the Cowboys, 49ers, and Steelers have won 5 Super Bowls which is the most of any NFL team.

No team has ever won 6. Steelers will be the first.

quote pyramid go

+ yes they will. we know their team, they know ours... but they don't have the Steel Curtain and Ben Roethlisberger. here's what we'll do k?:

1. Sack/Pick off Kurt Warner a couple times early on, get up 14-3 or so in the first quarter.
2. Keep getting to him ALL DAY and frustrate him to no end.(did you see how mad he was when playing the Eagles? it's his weakness and we know it.)
3. D-FENCE! D-FENCE!
4. Have Willie Parker run all over their crappy little defense and have Ben hit any one of the army that is our Wide Receivers, Tight Ends, and Running Backs.(DEPTH BABY, WE GOT IT.)
5. ???
6. LOL 6 SUPERBOWL RINGS!!!

I'm callin it, 31-17 with them getting 2 TD's late in the game after we've put our 3rd string in and us marching up and down the field all day. Maybe a repeat of the San Diego game where we hold them to 1 plays for AN ENTIRE QUARTER OF PLAY?!?!

oh yea, that record will never be broken btw. 1 play in a whole quarter lol that was fun.

GO STEELERS.

If anything, Arizona will start off hot and Pittsburgh will not, but then the Steelers *may* take the lead.

But I'll still be rooting for Arizona. Represent the NFL West!!

that will PROBABLY be the case as it always in in Steelers games. everyone knows we're a 2nd half team lol. but if we get an early jump on them with our Defense, like a pick-6 or some kind of turnover(rather likely with our D this year), then its almost game over from the start lol. When we get leads, we sit on them.

You do realize that "Big" Ben sucks in the big game, right? The Steelers beat the Seahawks in XL, but Ben was absolutely horrible in that game - and the Seahawks were only good because of Shawn Alexander who has fallen off the edge of the map - so saying "We have Ben!" really doesn't say much other than your quarterback will probably suck in the game, while Kurt Warner, on the other hand, has combated Super Bowl caliber defense before and beaten it. That and Larry Fitzgerald is a BEAST!! 'Nuff said.

I will say that the Steelers have a chance, but GO CARDS!!!

his first 2 years he had the highest or 2nd highest QB rating in the league and our offense was actually ranked pretty well, along with our constantly ranked 1st or 2nd defense. since then he may not have put up the ratings or numbers but he still gets results, and that's ALL that matters. Points, Wins.

I'll root for the Steelers.

As for the record? Just winning 6 doesn't mean much. To bad you can't be like the 9ers and win 5 out of 5 Superbowls. I guess you've got the upper hand of knowing what it's like to lose the big game.

Lol, but seriously, Steelers are going to win. Like others have said, they'll start off slow, letting 1 TD and 2 FGs against them while making 2 FGs themselves. In the second half, they'll step it up and score 2 TDs while only allowing 1 FG.

Final score: 20-16. I'm making the assumption that all the 1 point kicks after the TD are made for both teams.

5 out of 6, close enough. in '95 we lost to Dallas cuz our QB gave the game away. We should already be 6 of 6, and this year would be 7 of 7. >_>

I'll give it to ya, Eagles should be in it. They had that game put away in the 4th corner and McNaab started screwing up his passes in ways I couldn't even look at. It sucked, seriously.

And the pats, I was amazed at how good the new kid did. BUT THEY STILL SUCK.

Arizona will lose.
Warner and Fitzgerald basically make up that #4 rated offense in the nation and their defence is.. meh.. shit.
On the other hand, you got the steelers. #1 defence and roughly #19 offence. They have Roethlisberger and that strong safety nightmare Troy Polamalu. and hell, Troy isnt even the #1 defensive player on the team.
I wanna say the Steelers will blow out the Cardinals, but im not mean spirited haha.

Arizona's defense has been doing pretty good lately actually, during the regular season they weren't all that good but for the post season have sort of started to click.

Steelers defense is great but they are still a tad vulnerable to the passing attack, while basically shutting down the rushing attack (this post season). But with Warner, Fitz, Boldin, and Breaston they will be even more susceptible to that.

They say you need a rushing attack to be successful in the playoffs, but I somehow doubt there will be much running going on during the SB.
