Not while I'm in WG madeoface.gif

so basically, your applying for raid leader so you can change gear reqs and gear checks.

interesting

Not just gear, a rethink of the clan's whole PvP system entirely. Gear is only a small part of it.

Joe, you're supposed to be banned by Christmas so don't worry smile.gif

Members who aren't applying: Don't diss anyone's application. At least they're trying to make the clan a better place. Althought only one will get it the rest of them still get respect.

Good luck to all applicants.

Raid Leader Applications

RSN: Groedius
Timezone: GMT

1. When did you join WG, and why did you join?
Sometime in March 2006 I joined because WG looked like an different interesting clan and ive loved it here since i have joined even if i have sometimes said otherwise.

2. On what days are you active? What is your usual online/playing time (GMT/EST)? (ex. 1:00pm GMT - 10:00pm GMT)

Well At the moment im off university until February due to exams my timetable changes slightly when i go back so im not too sure what times ill be active but it will be most likely 5 - 10 pm GMT weekdays and 11 am GMT - 12 am GMT weekends.

3. Do you have Teamspeak and a microphone?

Yes

4. Are you comfortable with F2P & P2P combat raiding alike?

Yes i am familar and comfortable with both F2P and P2P and have attended many raids in both of these throughout my years of being a guardian.

5. What is your view on the way WG is headed in PvP? What do you feel about F2P? P2P?

I think at the moment WG is starting to get its momemntum going again and we have the potential to go all the way and be a top 10 clan. All we need is some good leaders to help take us there. We need to have some more offical raids to get out there in the wilderness and show other clans how good we are and there are alot of smaller teams out there which is free kills for us.

We are going strong and in the right direction the only thing we need now is more activity from our members attending raids and that people have the required gear sets so that if we do get a run in with a clan we know that WG will return as returning has been a problem for us in the past. I feel that we need to work together as a clan in order to fix this problem we need everyone possible to attend events and make sure that they do return. I also think that if alot of people start to leave as soon as we get a run in that they should be warned because it is obvious that they do not want to lose there sets or do not have the required gear.

In P2P we can become a power house right now we have a good amount of members and with some training and some knowledge passed on we can become a powerhouse.

In F2P we have a few problems at the moment mostly with tanking which I would be looking into correcting.

6. It is important to have a goal to strive towards while leading. What are your goals for WG if you become a Raid Leader? How do you think you will achieve them?

My goals would be

1. Helping to turn us into the P2P powerhouse we can become however i cannot do this alone and will need the clan to help me by being willing to risk there gear and abiding to the gear rules so that we have people to return in fights.

2. Trying to recruit new members.I would also run more tank practices and Inter clan or friendly fights with our allies so that our newer members can gain more valuable experience on the battlefield.

3. Making either a fortnightly raid or war which would be run in the same way as the mega raid scheme were you have to sign up and if you miss 3 in a row your kicked.

7. Do you plan on going inactive within the next six months?

Im not planning on going inactive in the next 6 months however i will be semi inactive for my exams for a week in January.

8. What qualities do you have that would make you a good Raid Leader and place you above other candidates?

I have had some previous leading experience with clans and I have had similar experience in other games and leadership experience in real life.
I have also had a previous position in WG and I know what is required of being a tertiary.

9. One problem with leadership is a tendency to start strong, then fade out into inactivity. Will you promise to uphold your duties continously throughout your service to the best of your ability?

Yes.

10. Are you commited to stay with WG regardless of whether or not you are promoted?

Yes.

To begin with if I was elected Raid Leader:

I don't think this is an election.
