I got 95 and tried the granite rocks without a summons because I wanted to get used to mining and dropping but it was a total bust I got like 43,400 for one hour when I usually get 50k plus banking concentrated gold for my first session. So I am freaking now and I am going to gold and dropping--it better be better. -------------------- | ||||

Thats really not that bad for the first time you ever did it...I did several practice runs with the concentrated gold and alching it thing just a few minutes at a time just to make sure I understood the rhythm of it well before starting on any sessions. I tried the concentrated gold without the Varrock 3 armour and without a summons and it was better than the granite but was still a bust. I suspect it is a combination of luck and getting used to dropping but I completed session two with 47,900. I will try again tomorrow after a practice a while with dropping but so far: Session 1 43,740 Session 2 47,900 bad bad bad Oh, the Varrock armour makes more of a difference than I thought because I was doing 50k an hour and banking. -------------------- | ||||

Based on my experience to-date, you must have the 99 to get the higher xp/hour. Sorry but at 95 mining my xp so far is as follow: Session 1 43,740/hour I went to the granite rocks and i had always heard you get fabulous results there. Well, I was shocked. Session 2 47,900/hour I went back to the living rock caverns and I was in for shock two; with the Varrock three armour I was doing 50,000/hour with banking. Without the V3 armour and dropping less than 50/hour. Session 3 48,920/hour I was on the way and with 5 minutes left the gold collapsed and I ended up playing tag with the living rock creatures. If it wasn't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all. Oh, well onward to the next session. -------------------- | ||||
