WG is the first warring clan I've been in so, anything I'm about to say can be disregarded as ignorant and misguided. I agree with a few points that both sides of this argument have made. I personally don't enjoy f2p, I pay the 6$ a month so I don't have to be stuck in f2p. But, I do see that f2p still holds the fundamental basics of clan warring and without fundamental mastery how can one improve on the finer areas. A good balance between the two, f2p and p2p, is probably the key to maintaining the overall skill and experience to keep our members sharp and keen to the situation at hand. I've only attended two wars with WG so far. VH and Gladz. Both we're basically the same type of war but with WG on a different side each time. In VH we got massively out-pulled and out skilled to be bluntly honest. From what I saw the in-game calling was extremely lacking on our side and perfect on theirs. During the Gladz war we overwhelmed them with our numbers and it seemed that our organization had improved slightly but still has yet to reach the level of perfection that should be shown from members of the Wilderness Guardians. As they say, "Don't bring shit to the table if you can't help clean it up". I have a few ideas that I think might help WG members improve as a whole and as individuals. - Inner-Clan mini-wars Basically set it up as a war. Take the attendee's and try to split them evenly in level and numbers into 2 teams. I believe this could create a good controlled environment that is close enough to a real war situation that it will show our areas that need improvements and gives us the opportunity to improve on them. (CWA preferably so there is no real loss other than the money spent on food, pots, ammo, runes, etc.). - No Teamspeak Practice wars During our war against Valhalla the major issue we seemed to have was the piss poor amount of actual in-game spam that we had to up to notify where our pile was. Though TeamSpeak is an invaluable resource to warring clans it should not be the backbone of all organization. -------------------- |

When we were in a massive slump while he was our Warlord, he made us into a force to be reckoned with in P2P. He knows what he's talking about. /thread -------------------- ![]() ![]() |
