You really need to ditch the Squire and get a real strat at some point. The difference between a Squire and a proper Fender strat is just night and day. Playing my Squire as my first electric guitar completely ruined strats for me for the past 8 years. Switched to an epiphone les paul 4 years ago and now I've discovered how awesome a proper strat is with a Fender American Deluxe. I still need a proper amp though :S --------------------   | ||||||||

Much agreed. My parents got me it as a starter guitar and I've never really got around to buying a really nice guitar (money goes fast#) so yeah.
