+1. It was a really stupid event. Whether we won or not, there are a few points that I didn't like. I mean no disrespect to Mugger. The event was a good idea, but how it was done was not.

1) 22 vs 8: This was obviously going to happen, but the spread was so large that it made it no fun to war.
2) 10 minute late start. 5 PM is 5 PM, there shouldn't be exceptions for anyone. This isn't a personal attack to the person who came late, but we should've left without him/her.
3) Admin abuse on TS was annoying. SAs would come into our channel, yell/spam us, mute our channel, etc. None of which any of us appreciated.

IMO We should've started on time, chill with the admin abuse, give the leader SA JUST for the war, and possibly moved some guardians to the staff team to even it out. Obviously it wouldn't have been a Staff vs Guardians war, but it could've been much much more fun.

I agree with you except for the fact about the waiting. We weren't JUST waiting for the person, we were trying to sort out our leadership issues and whatnot. And the fact that the leaders came telling us to hurry is rather rude. Considering they HAD Raid Leaders, and we didn't, and we were trying to prepare.

Well, regardless of that. The way the staff acted in TS was inappropriate and unnecessary. Sure, the event was just for fun, but I can personally say that having people scream in my ear and having the channel muted when I need to talk is not fun.

As for some of the constructive criticism colin has put forward, I'm sure all of those three points can be incorporated into this event if we do it again in the future.

As for the Admin Abuse, it was actually meant as light hearted humour and dirty tactics as it was obvious who was going to win from the begining. The event was actually meant to be a social event, where everyone could just be random and take out their frustration on the staff We didnt really expect the members to take things so seriously. Perhaps I'll make that more clear if we do that again

It wasn't that it "couldn't be done." It was because if one of us had SA, we could have prevented their actions. And they didn't want that.

It wasn't that they didn't take it seriously enough. The event was for fun. If you were there throwing snowballs at me, I wouldn't care. It was what they were doing on TS that was getting me agitated. And if you were in my position, you would've been getting annoyed as well. Don't even say you wouldn't.
