Andrew, you're one helluva guy, and you make some EXCELLENT points, however, it will never work, especially in the WG of today. WG was so much more stable with reliable members and a community second to none back in the day and WE couldn't even make this work. There's no doubt in my mind that should this be implemented the way you're suggesting, the clan will suffer as a whole. Don't get me wrong. It's obvious that you thought long and hard about how you wanted to change things, which is more than most people around here, but your ideas need a little tweaking. Skillers SHOULD be allowed to come into the clan if they want to join us and not have to go through the rigamaroll that those who choose to fight do. We're skillers, we're not fighters. WG is getting back on this "power" trip again and it almost cost the clan last time. If majority of the members want to war, then by all means, let them war. If someone would rather level fishing or whatever, then that's what THEY should do. Not everyone plays the game the same way. There will always be "defectors" or people who have a mind of their own that play and to punish them for not conforming to the ways of the clan is purely ridiculous. No, dividing the clan into two separate entities isn't the answer. The answer lies in the heart of each individual and inside the leader's minds as to where they want the clan and themselves to be. There are certain things that CAN change so it's a little more "community" friendly and everyone's treated the same, but will the leaders even THINK about different ways, or will they decide that we must join them or suffer? Only time will tell Andrew, there's nothing we can do but do our thing and wait. I, for one, have my fingers crossed. Again...GREAT ideas and good looking out. -------------------- | ||

At least you go to wars. At least you show you care. You're a great member and it is okay to be in WG for skilling/community, it would just be a mistake to make the skilling requirements again, to open it up for people to join WG on basis of skilling, not give a crap about our warring, and not even be on the same memberlist. Most importantly, that would make us into a forcibly united division again. -------------------- Sig? | ||

He doesn't make one because he realises that suggestions like this one don't work very well. Sometimes, holding your breath is better than speaking. To rick. Yeah, ok you have your opinion. But I swear what brings wg together is a good war in which we win. Sure maybe not atm, but you think of wg's history, whats the first epic moment of wg that everybody knows? You think WG vs. DOA was epic??? Dude, you haven't a clue. Wars don't make a clan successful, community does. Wars don't do a damn thing but give those that crave the power, something to do. When you guys lose, people leave, people whine, people point fingers...oh yeah, that's fun. Those are the reasons why I probably won't EVER war again. Do you just like to pull things out your ass to try and get to me? Believe me son, you're not good enough. You want to have this conversation, we can have it but I guarantee at the end of the day, you're still not going to like me and the feeling will be mutual. You've been on my case since I came back and it's getting very boring. I don't see you whining about anyone else but me. Do I intimidate you? I'm almost 40 years old, I seriously doubt that if my parents or my wife couldn't break my mindset, a kid like you could. It's the way that I am. Quite a few people like the way I am, others don't. I could care less either way. This isn't a popularity contest. If I see something I can comment on, I'll comment on it...whether it's right or wrong.
