Rotation: Start with a mind blast, throw up SW:P, wand, repeat (without the SW:P)

All characters have a shitty boring rotation at the start. When you get up to including Mind Flay, Vampiric Touch, Devouring Plague, and Shadow Word: Death, things get fun, trust me. I have no regrets leveling a shadow priest as my main.

My current "rotation" (if you could call it that, because its more of a priority system) on a boss is as follows:

VT, DP, MB, SW, Mind Flay until I get 5 stacks of that shadow power thingy (Can't remember the name), then interrupt the mind flay with SW: P.) Then it goes on a priority system, which is VT/DP, then MB, then SW: D. Mind flay is always a filler, and should be interrupted if another DoT or spell is over/off cooldown.

This is bosses only, obviously. On trash or soloing, I go a little more basic. MB, DP or SW:P, SW:D, Mind flay. Obviously if the trash is something like the two guys before emalon, I'll throw on a full range of DoTs because they take longer to go down.

NICE. I wish rogues could use polearms so bad. Anyway, should have 65 on Eregion by tonight. I hate grinding weapon skills.

/me is jealous. I could never get a cool looking UI. Mine does the job for raids, but its a little ineffecient space-wise and just doesn't look very pleasing. I've seen some great looking UIs but I don't know how they do it.

Anyways, working on Thorim HM with my new guild. On our first night our best attempt was 22%, but every time after that we just kept failing and couldn't bring him past 50%. I did really good on all attempts except the first (I was still really new to the fight, now I know it like the palm of my hand -.-) People just need to be more aware, but I guess everyone kept getting distracted somehow. I just don't see how we can fail if everyone is focused, but apparently they weren't.

Fail of the day: In my dps group someone overshot their movement away from the lightning strand, right into a chain lightning that hit 6 people. For those that don't know, every person after the 3rd in a chain lightning is instant-death, except for tanks. Needless to say I was the 6th person and got hit for.. a lot.

pretty sure my ui consists of.....dbm, recount, omen.....think thats it......haven't actually tried any bar mods or raid ui mods =P
