Well, I didn't look at the item levels. But a belt dropped that was JUST shy of being an upgrade on the Nimble Climber's Belt, and that's an Ulduar BoE. So yeah, that's an epic 5-man either way. --------------------  | ||||

Got bored after downing arch/ema last night, went and did 10 and 5 man versions of this new thing. 10 man version I got a new plate belt which is above and beyond the BiS belt ulduar pattern I was trying to get before, should save me quite a bit of gold.  Went ahead and got my 150 champion seal Sunreaver Dragonhawk, which is pretty much the coolest flyer EVER, and now I'm saving for the squire upgrade which should be easy with 10 champion dailies after getting Crusader lol.also got server first 'Not one Jormunger but Two!' on both 25 and 10 man. epic win. -------------------- -=}¤- Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici -¤{=-  W I N N I N G | ||||

| IRC Nickname: Mike|Sonix Group: Ex-Member Posts: 1483 Member No.: 13 Joined: December 29, 2007 Total Events Attended: 103 | XT last night was like progression all over again.. for those of you that did it before the hotfix, it spawned a ridiculous amount of adds that were nearly impossible to control. We normally do heartbreaker but its hard to burn the heart down quick enough without being killed by the amount of adds that spawned. So after 5 failed attempts, we developed a new strategy that worked.. XT was tanked at the top of the steps where the teleporter is. At heart phase, all ranged dps immediately got off the boss and waited for adds. Melee kept on auto-attack, not using any special abilities. This way when the heart phase was over, we wouldn't be pushed into another heart phase and have more adds. During each heart phase, ranged dps just worked slowly on the huge amount of adds. When we attacked the boss, it would only be from the bottom of the steps. By the time all the adds were down, XT was almost in her next heart phase (off by maybe 5%). So basically, all ranged dps were on adds duty for 80% of the fight. A slow kill but its better than nothing, at least we got through. Also tried Knockx2 but it was a little rough, leaving ground tremor and roots elder up. We did knockx1 with ground tremor up last week, so we tried roots this week and 1-shot that as well. Other than that, not much interesting happened. Looking forward to Steelbreaker and 3 lights soon. -------------------- | ||||

Theres a problem here. To do hardmode would require all dps to focus on the heart, with no one working on the never-ending group of adds. By the time we burned the heart enough, the adds are so overwhelming, plus hardmode requires a lot more healing. This would put a huge strain on healers, and while possible (I've heard of a few people to have done it) it takes way more attempts than normal mode. We don't really have the time to spend since we need to do 3 lights and hopefully steelbreaker this week, with 7 hours remaining. 3 lights isn't hard though, and with the nerfs we'll definitely get it in a few shots. We also left up Ignis, Razorscale, Mimiron, and Vezax, which is about 1.5 hours in itself. -------------------- | ||||

Took an hour to down FL4T, 1 shot Heartbreaker, wiped 3 times on ICY:Runemaster guy and only got up to Kologarn. XT has already been hotfixed. I 1-shot 4 tower FL yesterday, so I don't see any problems there. Didn't do IC yet. -------------------- | ||||

Flame Leviathan 4 tower bugs we've noticed so far: When he overloads he just keeps on going. Siege Engine boost stops halfway and immobilizes you. Hodir beams freeze you even if you're nowhere near them. Vehicles randomly blow up for no reason. Thorim Beams hurt ALOT more and show up ALL over the place, literally. and a few others.
