<3 old wilderness. You guys who don't know much about the old wildy are lucky that they are finally bringing it back, otherwise you'd be missing out on the best part of RS forever.

Jagex are *considering* lootshare for pking (not mandatory obviously, but they may add it in as an option), which would be pretty damn cool IMO (stops the high levels getting all the loot on raids, and would encourage more tbers/spearers etc).

This. Though I was never very good at actually winning and tripling my bank, I did LOVE staking. It made me poor as fuck, but I was addicted to it and thought it was great fun.

And another thing, the changed Wilderness and introduction of the trade limit isn't what killed macroers to such an extent. Sure, people were upset that they couldn't macro and sell Gold on RWT sites anymore, so that helped A LITTLE, but there are still a fuck load of macroers for people who actually PLAY the game. What's better than macroing to cut 10K Magic Logs, sell them on the GE, and then actually use that money? Nothing. Macroers are still out there, and the main reason they are dwindling is because of this "technology" JaGeX says they have. I don't know what it is, or even if they're making it up, but they're doing something right. (Yes, I just said JaGeX is doing something right.)

And for the people complaining that the Wilderness won't be the same:

Yeah, it won't be the same. But it will go back the way it's SUPPOSED to be. I was never a PKer or anything like that, but I still preferred the old wilderness over what it is now. Mainly because in the old Wilderness, you could avoid going into it. There weren't as many quests or activities in the Wilderness back then. You either went there to PK or you went there to die. Now, you can't. And though Revenants aren't the same as a PKer or a Clan trying to kill you, they're still fucking annoying, and now I need to be in the Wilderness even more than before to do quests and shit. Annoying.
