Id really like to get ahold of a nice dark Grey theme, but I honestly... don't know how, or where to find a reliable one...

Windowblinds is for nubs, but it's the best thing out there unless you know how to configure the Windows Shell. xD Get that, object dock, and rainmeter tbh, so you can make it look like my new desktop:

 Eh, I use Desktop Sidebar most of the time, clock, CPU and graphics card heat ad performance, as well as news and weather... comics, lol.

Of course, now you cant see the Background image very well with the sidebar, but usually I have it up when I'm surfing the web or watching youtube of something...

Anyways, In the time from posting my last shot, I found a youtube vid on how to install new themes, found a saucy one on DeviantArt and got it up and running. Only complaint with it is its changing my firefox theme and making text boxes dark, which.. isn't really a bad thing, but it looks out of place in a bright website...

 ^Thus the purpose of rainmeter, it friggin pwns for those exact reasons. You can have ALL of your computer stats:

Drive space/performance
CPU performance
Heat/Fan speed
and you can get other little widgets and such for other parts of your computer
+ crap like calendars, clocks, and media players right on ur desktop. hash.png

Best of all, no hideous bar blocking the hawt pic on the screen veryevilgrin.gif

The parts of it I'm currently using are:
Wireless
Winamp Interface
RAM
Network
HDD 1
Clock.Vision
CPU
Battery

You can choose white or black, depending on what looks better with ur desk. I'm using white, since the bg is black. hash.png

 So I can't seem to change the skin on rainmeter, and windowsblinds won't install at all, keeps saying I need to restart after I already have. Tried running as administrator with no luck.

Any suggestions?

 for RM you right click the icon in ur system tray, goto configs, and select the one you want.

to install skins, you must put them in the Config folder of where you installed RM.

For windowblinds, you might have to DL the cracked version lol, I'll try to find it for ya later.

I dont have a config folder. Just plugins and skins.

 Is there anyway I can get the Home Premium styled theme of vista and not the ultimate one? I think Home Premium theme looks better than Ultimate tbh.

Right now I have windowblinds, objectdock, and rainmeter, as well as cursor, sound, icon, and other programs that you can't even see. Even my bootscreen and login screens are amazingly awesome!

But yea, windowblinds, objectdock, and rainmeter are the big ones. I believe I posted the windowblinds link above, and I'll try to get objectdock. rainmeter is a freebie. hash.png
