Don't kid yourself, TOC is a fucking joke, the heroic versions might be a bit more challenging, but currently, it's all really pathetic.

As true as it is, I'm still proud that we "tied" world 1st on Jaraxxus, haha. Probably the easiest fight in there IMO. Northrend beasts still wipes us on 10man occasionally, but its usually a 1 shot.

yea it's easy, after day 1 we one shot the whole place, including twin valkyr OMG that's easy. anub'arak doesn't sound hard at all either, so yea. STILL we're #1 in the WOOOORLD.

Beasts of Northrend on H ToC is a bitch. 8 attempts in, we have acidmaw and dreadscale about 50% each when the raid is fully wiped. But wiping is slow, people start dying at the start of the phase. Also each phase is on the 3 minute timer. Gormak is just under 1% at the time the tanks have to pick up their worms. Its not so bad because we finish him up and get where we need to be, but 3 bosses up is a bit hectic, heh.

We did survive long enough for Icehowl to come out once (6 minutes) but acidmaw and dreadscale were nowhere near dead. The key right now is finishing off phase 1 smoothly, but we almost have it.

Found out what it was, lol. Evidently there's a glitch with battlenet accounts that screws with your forum access the day your account is up for automatic renewal. Although there was that one time that I hopped on a furries thread, yelled "WOLVERINE'S A FURRY" and ran.

Lol.

Hopefully Ulduar will be the new Naxxramas before long, so I can get in.

Also considering switching Alchemy for Blacksmithing for the dps bonus. I doubt I will since I love the JC transmutations and mixology, but I'm considering it.

Thought I'd post my UI, its taken me awhile but I feel like its finally "complete." Unfortunately in a Solo setting it doesn't look all that great, but its still good. I only use xperl for myself/target/target of target/focus. Disabled it for everything else.

So, I rolled out of an absolute fail of a heroic pug that couldn't get past Skadi. Had some time to
kill, thought I might manage to get in on an Ulduar 10 for the first time in a month. Lo, there was one!
So I'm all psyched at finally getting back to some serious raid content after a month of dailies and heroics.

I know it's the standard UI and my layout sucks, I do fine with it... now take a look at the dps chart in the bottom right corner.

I got saved to that shit.

I am so interested in getting WoW for some reason. A few things set me back and will probably prevent me from getting it...

Buying the actual game disc.
Paying the money per month.
Having to go back to a low-level/noob state of mind when all of the good gameplay seems to be high-level.

I do have a 10-day free trial disc.. I might try that out when I find some spare time and see how I like it.

You can purchase the game online and download it that way - I'll be honest and say leveling isn't a huge blast but it's not that bad the first time or two, and if you know where to find guides it's pretty quick. It's not like RS, where it takes 2-3 years to get maxed out.

Yes all of the good gameplay is high-leveled, but it doesn't take nearly as long as scape to get to the high levels. Also leveling your first time around is usually fun for most people because they don't know any better. Once you experience the content most people don't like to go back.

Did you guys try out the new hardmode instance? It's really no cakewalk, I'm playing in a guild killed everything in 25 man Ulduar minus 0 watchers and Algalon, and we barely pack the DPS it takes.

There was one guild who got to anub'arak with 44 attempts left which I find ridiculous right now. At the moment we're stuck due to lack of attendance, we only had 4 healers online last night. One of them wasn't even his main spec.

HEROIC TOC: Getting Gormok down before Jormungars come out is pretty easy, we usually get Dreadscale to about 10-15% before Icehowl comes out, and then at about 10% he enrages and WTFPWNS the raid. We'll get it down on Sunday, but yea that's insane lol. Tonight/tomorrow we're working on killing Anub'arak(servers were down until almost 10pm on tuesday so we didn't finish) and then starting 25m H ToC/Vault, but hopefully it's not quite as intense. Looking forward to it though. We're not #1 in the world anymore.

Yea, Koralan was pretty much a joke next to Emalon... Move in a circle, don't stand in the fire, tank and spank. We had to blow cooldowns on Meteor Fists or w/e it was called but otherwise ezmode.

Any1 do Jaraxxus/Faction Champions/Val'ky/Anub'arak heroic yet? I'm scared.
