Those capes are pretty insane and all BiS from what I've heard. What I meant from the new instance being no cakewalk, I meant the hardmode version of it obviously, noone cares for the easymode one. 10man we cleared with 44 tries I think, 50 tries when we reached Anub Arak (or whatever the second half of the name is), wiped a few times and made it on 44 tries left, 25 man is another story tho. We only had 1 try on the first boss and got overrun due to the 2 jormungars spawning regardless if you are done killing the first dude or not. -------------------- Speed before need, you snooze, you lose.  | ||||

Wow we must suck then. Our 10 man is 3rd horde side in Ulduar, and we were #1 WORLDWIDE until Heroic mode came out, now we can't even down first boss in Heroic 10 man. We got Icehowl to 7% and hit the enrage timer ffs... then again we did it with no shamans and no ranged dps. Ash is a fantastic tank and did huge trash pulls; combined with Focused Attacks I get +2 energy for every critical hit, so it was practically non-stop FoK'ing. --------------------  | ||||

There's several different kinds of servers, RP (roleplaying), PvP (most of the world is open PvP with no level restrictions, can be a bit tough on lower levels), and Normal (erm... normal). Feel like I'm forgetting one but w/e (imo, alliance races are easier to start off and get a feel for the game). The classes all fulfill different roles that will reflect on how you want to play. Cloth classes (warlocks, priests, mages) lack defense and prefer to fight from a distance, killing stuff before it has a chance to do alot of damage to them. Then you've got the opposite extreme (warriors, paladins) have heavy armor and can take a heavier beating. Intermediately you've got rogues (ftw), shamans (moderately tough to pick up on I think), hunters (can fight at a distance or in a melee - very versatile), and druids (the most versatile class in the game, druids can do anything whatsoever - heal, tank, range dps, melee dps, rogue-mimicry). -------------------- | ||||

Mmk. Maybe I'm an idiot but I extracted it and followed the install instructions off the website and got nothing. Not doing arenas or anything just messing around, l2p a rogue all over again. I'm pretty terrible at it, but sapping horde all over WG after they'd won - and then watching all the blood elf paladins run around blasting thin air - gave me a distinctly happy, fluttery feeling. Got t8.5 gloves (4-piece set!) and the arena 5 gloves (4-piece set!)! The t8.5 4-piece is AMAZING. You don't break it until the 4-piece t9.5 or t9.75 which is basically endgame BiS. Good run. Didn't bother posting it, then for the rest of the week we struggled on H Jaraxxus, getting him sub-10% several times. Tonight was the most amazing progression I've seen, downing H beasts in 2 wipes (technically not progression, but its still a hard encounter) then continuing to down H Jaraxxus in another two wipes. So we are on faction champions with 46 attempts remaining and 3 days of raiding. --------------------  | ||||

I wish we could get preparation as mutilate then I could get the glyph, stack some dodge and do it for 40 seconds solid instead of just 15.  We wiped both times anyway because both tanks were dead and the debuff was too high for them to handle even if they'd been alive for me to tott, but still. Rawr moment. -------------------- | ||||
