I've hit 2.1k Ret/Rogue, its a really fucking hard comp, by far the hardest, you can't dick your way to 1800 like Warrior/druid etc. We played over 1k games before we got to 2k, and we had to work up our own tactics and what not.

For 3s, I typically run SWP or WPD. SWP is a bit harder, and requires a lot more out of your shaman, but the earth shocks, heroism and windfury make it a very damage intensive combo. However, WPD is a lot safer, and can last longer than SWP, since the druid is a lot better healer than the shaman.

For 3s you can also sub the Warrior for a rogue, and the shaman/druid for a disc priest.

It's kinda sketchy for rets, since we run oom so fast, we need a 3s team who can keep the other team busy while i deek and drink.

For 2s, I can also roll with mage, although it's not as effective as a mage.

Yeah it would seem that way. Especially the part of designing your own strategies as you play, seems much more intense then any other comp.

I've played Mage/Rogue (Only one Perception), and got to 1750 at some point. Though never really tried to hard to go any further with Lock/Dru or Lock/Pally always snagging us. Seems like everyone is 4/5 Brut with Venge Shoulders even in the 1600 Brackets.

Unfortunetly we didn't have time to try out the strategy you suggested. Once we got P2 down. Just a few solid attempts on P3/P4 made it much more clear. And a Hunter got the bow for only 2 DKP.

Also, just got my 4 piece T6 bonus the other week, scooped up a helm off an archi kill.

Now if only I could get my chest so I can swap out the legs for bow-stitched.

Yes, that's kinda how it works unfortunately.

You just have to push past. My 3s team is having a little bit of trouble penetrating 2k right now, we keep losing to Holy pally, Enhance shaman MS war. Currently we are running Ret/MS/Resto shaman, and its a pretty hard comp to work with, because the shaman is not a very strong healer, and is vulnerable to silences and interrupts.

Not to worry however, Gladiator Chach shall proceed.
