If anyone would like to call for my resignation, please, you may have it.

There is no need to raise the flag. If it is what you think its best for the reason see fit then so be it, it need not approval in the end. Preempting is unfortunately instigates and stir at any level. And if that decision is sought and thought final, it varies in reasons; its either its done for individual duress/rant or thought to be the betterment of the whole or that perhaps we see some sense in what others don't, knowing to grant them that wish when we know enough we'd love to give more and had not changed that for own reason.

Sometimes we need not explain but we must first know to acknowledge never to have manipulated anything in the course of the council service, in the end, leave or stay can be to prove some points - but in the end, to search all avenues and know, no wrongs have been done on one's part, disregard mockeries or taunt that is only the folly of anyone at any level in any way - the reason behind it is very important, from all sides, same for anyone, including your own. Either way, live a lie or shine like a clear crystal.

P.S. On a general note, the best gift to receive on the boards are honest commentaries however blunt and does not harbor malice, pride or patronization, act what one preach to be qualified to question others, it is will be in anyone's judgment - benefit to recognize and appreciate accordingly.

Beauty is in the eyes of its beholder, it is the same for any other characteristics, honesty in the eyes of the beholder, sincerity in the eyes of the beholder likewise so are mockeries or blasphemies.

Randy, don't try making light of it either. Reread it maybe a few times and your gonna see what he meant more clearly like we discussed already.

Didn't have time to post about this this morning before I departed for school, but Abs really has generally covered it all. It's quite disappointing to see this sort of thing, and quite degrading really. On behalf of all people in positions of leadership in WG, Thanks :S

I have to agree with the signature though.
Instead of purely taking offense from it, perhaps take the message of the signature and realize why somebody actually put time + effort into making it.

Perhaps if some things changed, those signatures wouldn't be made neko2.gif

I'm most likely gonna clean this topic tonight when I have time. Realize what you're posting on, it's pretty pathetic that we can't even hold a simple council election without the clan releasing hell on it.

I've been reading theese comments and not posting either way.

One thing i agree with is council trials, as in re-elections every six weeks. It atleast gives the council something to do, they can make campaigns just like U.S elections, i think it could be fun. Although it may mean people being demoted our council would be our choice and we can change our choices, i think that's the point here.

I was responding to what Gorge said that has since been deleted.
I apologize you took my comment out of context. Gorge said he could sense a "kick" coming from you about Rick for the comment that was posted.
I was stating that you wouldn't do that. You totally misunderstood what I was saying.

I think you are doing a great job as council and hope you still respect me in the morning.

Rachel you know i think your awesome but seriously this was really inappropriate for such a serious topic.

TBH biastism (It's so now a word) is everyone. No one can stop it. School, hospitals, houses, work places. And even in WG you can't stop it you can only keep an eye on it.

Since I have some spare time, I am going to go through this topic and I am going to add a few warning leels to people who are being smug, stuck-up pricks.

Our council is excellent. Take it from the person who has been through many. It is the best counci we've ever had. People are shitting all over them.

I'm going to go Nazi now. This is too much disrespect.

Oh and a few notes of my own:

Mugger was being honest. He wants a GMT council member. How dare you call him biased when he was being so open. He could have just shut up and rigged the vote, but he chose to speak.

The elections are not done on a poll because a poll is single choice. The preferential voting system is better.

Application for Council

1. Have you read and understood the warning?
Yes. I have been in wg alot of times, and understand all the pressure council go under. I have seen many council be elected and step down.

2. What makes you think you can last a long term in the council?
Well, I have different commonalities with people. I blend in with different people on different topics. So I can chat with pretty much anyone in the clan and they share deep meaningful things with me that they don't share with others.

Also I post alot on forums, on a range of different topics, averaging above 4 posts a day, even though I am away from computers every fortnight, also had a month off because my mum went into hospital, and just had a 3 week holiday. With says something about how active I am. Also I would go as far to say I would be the most active person on IRC. As refering to talking while in IRC instead of afking.

3. Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you highly inactive?
Mid-year exams in June or July. But even then ill still be on IRC, forums and rs daily.

4. Why are you applying for council?

I want to contribute to the clan that has been my family for over 2 years all up.

When I first joined DG July 23rd 2004, I was welcomed with open arms into a great community. It was also my first 'known' clan and first clan with Australians. I loved it. There was something about WG that made me feel like it was the group of friends I never had. These people understood me, unlike any other person I had met before in my entire life.

Now that I am Event Leader, I feel like I am helping the clan, especially the Australia side of the clan, but I feel I could do more as a council member.

It says the new council member should be able to talk to people. I do that, there may be a few people I don't like as much as others, but I would still talk to them in an issue and deal with them, even if it means going against a friend who did wrong against them.

It also says someone who is active on IRC. As said before, I am really active on IRC. 8 hours a day on school days, and 16 hours a day or more on weekends or days off. And i don't idle in those times, I chat pretty much the whole time (excluding toilet and food breaks tongue.gif).

5. What does WG need most and what will you do as a council member?

I think WG needs a council member who is a no-life type of person. Someone who is on RS, forums and IRC pretty much every day, and most of the day. Someone who can deals with problems and issues rightly and not be bias. Someone who would wake up early for any odd event, especially wars, even if it means being late to an event or school. These would be the perfect qualities of a great leader who is a man/woman of the people.

- I would first make getting into WG harder. Also inflict more activity requirements on members who are slacking are breezing through on the 'minimum'.

- Also I personally think the Emeritus issue isn't as good as it could be.

- Attendance at events needs to be increased alot too. War attendance has nearly doubled in the past 2/3 months. Yet events still struggle to pull 10 people still.

- Activity on forums should be improved as well. People are being too lazy to post on simply topics, even if it is just a congratulations on a topic. Or posting an opinion on a suggestion topic. Or the most important, posting on a new members topic.

6. What puts you above other people applying for council?

Probably the most active member of all applying, especially considering my timezone most people don't recognize that.

Also I like alot of different things outside RuneScape. I participate in many sports and other social events. I swim, play basketball, play cricket, play aussie rules, soccer, go out with alot of girls so I have alot of commonalities with pretty much anyone.

Some examples are spenser and keith both enjoy NBA like me. Darth and Rob enjoy the same type as music as me.

7. What is your greatest weakness in terms of being a leader?

Probably my fortnightly trips to my dads, meaning I miss any war scheduled on a friday or saturday EST/GMT.

8. Is there anything else you would like to say?

Vote me n st00f

9. Do you agree to provide the council with two weeks notice if you wish to resign?

Ya k.
