hm.....so i havent played wow since ulduar, can someone tell me whats changed......im thinking about coming back to wow now, should i wait till catacysm or what? I think I may just rerole from a level 1 as well =/ idk is anything changing with cata other than the 1-60 questlines? and the 80-85 lvl cap? --------------------  | ||||

Don't worry, we're quite content in our superiority and feel no compulsion to flaunt it about.  Wait, what? Kiwi, quite a bit has changed. The 3.3.0 and 3.3.5 patches were massive (at least for rogues, and I'd assume a bunch of other people as well). It's not too hard to get geared up through the new 5-mans and into ICC10 content if you're interested in seeing it before Cataclysm. If not, I don't think there'll be much to look forward to until the expansion hits. Halion is just a royal pain in the ass (HM looks like fun though). In other news, Jack's Icecrown Citadel Movie is due out September 21st! Link is to the new, final trailer (in French). Also dropped my old guild tag this morning (on good terms with everyone; they're just happy doing 6-7/12 ICC25, and I'm not so much), and by this evening I was in one of the top-ranked progression guilds on the server. Not much in terms of worldwide progression, but it's a big step up for me. Hope I can handle it.  --------------------  | ||||

Trolling is when you make fun of us WoW people on our thread. Yes this is a RS clan and these forums are primarily dedicated to RS topics. We all here have the capacity to enjoy more than one game and enjoy talking about it. I personally have several friends added via the read id function on WoW so I can keep in touch. We met on RS and have carried our friendships to another game. Cata will be awesome Kiwi, that is the time to return. Everyone I know is looking forward to it and working hard to get maximum gear to get ready for it. I can't wait. what do the dps meters look like now a days? I was doing 3.5kish with buffs as my mage when ulduar was out (4k was high then i think) whats dps now with icc? is 3.5 even respectable now buffed? -------------------- | ||||

| IRC Nickname: Wayne|Eregion2 Group: Emeritus Posts: 3087 Member No.: 156 Joined: January 25, 2008 Total Events Attended: 8 | Blizzard introduced a scaling damage/healing buff in Icecrown Citadel that's maxed out at 30%, so I'm doing 14-14.5K with ilvl264 gear (non-ICC25 heroic) on melee dps tank-and-spank fights like Saurfang and Festergut. Reduced, that'd be 10.8-11.1K without the buff. Rogues with ilvl277 gear in the guild I just joined can easily do several thousand more. -------------------- | ||||

PUGs are pretty easy to come buy on most realms, higher end PUGs will require more experience at first. I wouldn't worry all too much about the end-game of LK. With Cata (expected) launch being in just a few months, that is probably going to be the best time to pick up the game again. --------------------   | ||||

How does that work, is the person with Shadowmourne the only one to get an Unsealed Chest or does everyone in on the kill get one? Wowhead is rather ambiguous. -------------------- | ||||

It'll drop an item to turn in the quest where they'll a few others, each giving them one item, for five (?) total. -------------------- | ||||
